I seem to remember seeing $500 in one of the OP’s posts, but she must have edited or something.
On a personal note, I can’t think of anything but guacamole, and burst into laughter at the thought of ponies. I think I should skip the barn tonight. There’s a sweet pony in the stall across from my lease horse and I don’t think I can keep it together.
I thought BTDT said 5000 this morning before I left for long day in courthouse on real estate issue. Oh well, I’ve bought 1/3 for 5000 of that saddle. I think that about 10 1/3’s of that saddle have been sold on Coth.:lol:
Finally home from courthouse and drinking cabernet. Red, red wine. French. Je suis ponyowner. Finally made it to barn. Cool and windy day after days of high 80s. Horses frisky and happy as bugs are absent today. Only good part of the day was with the horses.

Ok, I’m not PO and I don’t play PO on TV but… I have made it through 52 pages and feel compelled to stick up for PO just a little bit.
In the OPs very first post, she texted that she can’t wait to meet PO and hopes PO won’t find her and her kids ‘too crazy’ in light of their having survived many hours travelling cooped up in the car to meet the pony and PO - Sorry OP, but I’d take that as a sign that you and your kids are coming up to meet me and my pony to see if you’re a good fit and draft up the contract after meeting us for the first time
In the follow up texts, she mentions that she has ‘booked’ the truck and trailer - and again - if I was PO, I’d be assuming at that point that this means that after the initial visit (when OP and children were apparently coming up in the car), if everything works out then the OP would come up within a few days of the initial face to face meeting with her husband, rented truck, and trailer to pick up the pony once the contract was signed etc.
I’m afraid (well no, not afraid really) that I’m on the train that includes those who saw a lack of commitment from the PO in her responses; I didn’t see anything that suggested to me that PO was promising to give her pony to the OP until after the proposed face to face meeting (after all, PO did not agree to a hauler coming for pony, rather insisting that OP drive up and meet them all first) - and we all know (sort of) how that ended!
