Trailer, I’ll pay the difference between the cost of Goodyear and Michelins. I like Michelins. Which do you prefer?
I have an idea! Why don’t you get a complete makeover Trailer? How about becoming a conccession trailer and selling guacamole? You could be a bright green color or even get a fancy wrap! Your insides would be all new and spiffy and you would get to see lots of new places and people in your new line of work!

My Trailer is only for trailering horses and ponies.
We are not talking about guacmole. Only brats and beer.
Makeover is planned. New tires, new paint job. new floorboards.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but at this point the thread is surreal and I am totally lost. I freely admit I just don’t get it now.
However, I bet the OP really had no idea this would turn into the 2 mile long freight train it did!

Where the hell is tidyrabbit - wasn’t she the resident “horse communicator?” [/QUOTE]
I’ve been hiding out in the house while the yard guys are here mowing and weed eating. I’ve read 30 pages (sort of) of this thread.
I was able to contact the pony who told me in no uncertain terms that “I just couldn’t take ALL that talking, talking and more talking. FOUR HOOVES DOWN! No one should be concerned because I wasn’t going on that trailer anyways. Nope, I wasn’t going.” Said Pony.
I do have a bareback pad (pink with peace signs) for sale, it’s priced at 30K and comes with a horse.

I kind of feel like this thread should move to OT. I mean…cuz it’s soooooo off-topic.
I thought OT stood for Open Trailer.
TidyRabbit good to see you!!

It about to mean Off Topic if we don’t get back on topic.
So, let’s get back to ponies since that is what started this thread. What kind of ponies do people like and why?
The Trailer likes all ponies, especially small ponies that don’t jump around too much

That makes sense, yes. But what breeds? Seirous question. German riding pony? Fell, New Forest, welsch, shetland?
I like to sit on ponies.
POA’s are pretty darn special in my book!

Tell me abuot them. I am not so familiar with that type.
I like Welsh ponies.
Pony of The Americas. The foundation of the breed was Black Hand by a Shetland out of an Araloosa mare. This little colt gave the Shetland Pony breeder an idea and he and other shetland breeders formed the Pony of the Americas breed organization in Mason City Iowa in the mid 1950’s
The are good minded colorful souls. Like any breed they have issues with show fads and such but still a ton of family involvement in the breed.
If I had kids they would be showing POA’s.

Do they have a certain talent? Or is it an allaround type of pony?
Well they used to be true all a rounders but as time goes on they have specialized. But you still see plenty of them run barrels and compete in western pleasure the very next class successfully and then on to fences.

So a good american pony club type?
Personally, I like any good pony, really, but I think some of the German Riding Ponies are cute as a button.
I like ponies! However, they don’t like me except as treat dispensers, as I’m 5’10" and my legs hang down so far their sides, we look ridiculous.
I want PeteyPie to make some stick art with the real PO’s son riding the real Pony, son wearing rollerskates. Someone mentioned that a long way back and I think that’s a hilarious image!
