WOW - Check out this OTTB mare on FLF!

  1. 5 y.o. Chrome galore and what a lovely mover!

I really need to win the lottery, or get a sugar daddy…

She’s a cutie, she’s on our list to look at on Saturday.

Good eye Freebird! She is even more spectacular in the flesh. She has wonderful connections who are expert horsemen and are very transparent about the horses they offer for sale. Up-at-5 and her entourage are going to see a LOT of really nice horses on Saturday. I’m glad I’m not the one making a decision!

I don’t understand how you can say the mare moves well.

If anyone can pass on a tip to those at FLF, please video from the opposite side of the handler, I don’t care how he moves!

And for one entirely opposite of all that size and chrome, I really love the looks of this girl: http://fingerlakesfinesttbs.com/thats-vistas-girl/

I do not care for the mares movement either!

She’s one of my favorites. She just looks smart! There’s a lot I like about her. Think DH would be offended if I tried to find a sugar daddy?:wink:

Love Stay High Stanley! He is even nicer in person!

I love her too, so tempted now that the owner is finally serious about selling, but I am looking forward to having just two horses to deal with this winter…

Well, I like how she moves out of her shoulder, and she looks pretty sound. I’m not really a show person anymore though, so I guess I like different things. I really do think that she has the potential to be a nice mover, with the proper trim and conditioning.

I HATE how this girl is trimmed, but she’s cute - and I love her smaller size too!

Me neither (for the hunters-- she seems really tied in from the shoulder) but there’s a lid for every pot and I am sure she’s someone’s perfect horse! I hope she finds a nice home.

Wow! did you all miss out, I own that mare now, she is one of the most intelligent most beautiful movers I have ever seen! She look’s freaking terrible in that video then what she looks/ moves in real life. She actually has moments where I forget shes not a 100k warmblood. She is actually being bred in the spring to a famous showjumper and will hopefully have a baby next spring  im sorry you all have such low opinions here and im sorry/not sorry that you guys didnt see her. Sucks for you, my win!

Um, yay?

Glad she made a soft landing with you but no need to drag up a two+ year old thread…

Oh I think it’s always nice to hear people brag about their horses, and why not use an existing thread rather than create a whole new one requiring links and explanations?

Congratulations on your beautiful mare, eqismylife.

Wow, I’m sure glad she (or he) did

I often wonder what happens to these horses. I would love to see pictures or videos of her now.

Me, too.

Can we see her let down?!

Besides the fact her name wasn’t mentioned, so trying to figure out how one would search for and find this thread is confusing…

Just to come and be nasty? I suspect houseguest more than honestly owns the horse.

That was my take . Not a “hey let me update with where she is, what she is, how much I love her,” but “nanny nanny boo boo you all SUCK for being honest on a horse board two years ago.”

C’mon. If I want to update Rory’s thread, which I’ve done, I post a pic and say “wow look how lucky I am,” not “well he looks amazing so all you naysayers can kiss off.” And I had three pages of wishywashy comments  not four posts. This is just weird.
