Japanese rider quite good so far – this is a nice horse and he’s a cpable rider, sees his distance back a ways, stays out of tack.

Japanese rider down! Horse went down just like the Bielorus one, at the same fence. Horse is lame it seems. Ack. I hate seeing this.

Japanese rider down… interesting… watching on line and on tv and there is a definite delay between the two, with tv being ahead…I saw MK go a few fences on tv before she started on line (bbc).
They just showed the Japanese rider fall… so quite a delay…
They’re putting that horse of Japan’s behind the tarp. He looked pretty rough on his LF, which looked like where he hit that jump. I feel terrible for him, I thought he was riding well and having a great go.

The two things that impress me most are
-
the fantastic crowds–I think utilizing the stadium was brilliant as there are a ton of supporters sitting in there watching on the big screen (in fact, that’s probably what I’d do if I was there)

how fresh all the horses are, for the most part–kudos to good management and conditioning.
but a BUMMER for the Japanese rider–poor horse didn’t stand a chance to get his feet back under him.

I agree, use of the stadium is great! It’s a fun way to incorporate something they had to build for the event anyway and a great place to seat people. Putting a cross country element in there is so cool.

The Japanese horse was going so great. Hope she’s okay. 
Mary King has got to beastly fit. I love the horse; he looks fun and fast. But holy heck getting him to sit back on his haunches and wait looks like a daunting task not for the faint of heart.
mary king really missing but getting around…this horse is worse than Medicott for pulling and arguing the speed at whcih she wants to do these…taking big chances missing these turns and distances but the hrose is genuine
Yes there is a delay, definitely, you guys seem to be seeing things way after I do. Mary King on course again.
