too many - starting to look like Rolex 2012
Just curious but when did Zara’s cover come off her helmet? She started off with the blue nylon stretch cover but by midway it was the simple grey helmet only.

What happened? And at what fence?[/QUOTE]
Corner. 24
Anyone see what happened to Camilla? Horse okay? I was really looking forward to watching them go, I love Just a Jiff:(
I love the online commentator and his phrases.
I stepped out for a minute; how did the fall happen?
Isn’t this the 6th rider to come off?

Rolex had more refusals, retires, and runouts than this course… this seems to be you’re getting around or you’re taking a fall.
Course hold
So is there someone else on course behind the fall? How does that work? Wouldn’t you lose an incredable amount of momentum? Sorry from hunterland here…
Did anyone notice the horse ambulance and curtain up on the post shot of the last fall?

I noticed a few others were missing as well. Fault of the low trees, I am presuming.
H&H blog says horse fall at 24b for Camilla and Portersize Just a Jiff
This is the 10th elimination - all from horse and/or rider falls, unless I missed something.
The NBC live feed stopped marking time and put up “Coverage will resume.”
I hope this isn’t bad for rider & horse. Anyone have updates?
Pixie,
Others will be “held on course”. Yes, does take some of the adreneline out of your sails, to be stopped and restarted.
Horses that are held are timed, and that time is taken off their final xc time.
Welcome to eventing!
They put the screens up for another fall earlier where the rider was not serious, hopefully that is the case here as well.

They did that earlier too when someone else fell.

Yep, hoping I wasn’t seeing that correctly as it looked like a tarp or curtain.
Looks like the horse didn’t come out well in that fall.
