Phil Dutton up next!!! and he’s off!
Wow, the Italian horse Apollo is a looker! And a nice save through the water.
For the benefit of those of us at work and unable to watch (whine) can we get periodic score/placing updates?
Thanks in advance!

The UK eventing ‘hooligans’ are going to riot! (I know there are football hooligans, maybe they can show them how.:D)
“Sport of the Summer” might go from Dressage to Eventing. Break out the foam fingers.
I’m sure someone’s asked this already, but anyone know the Italian horse’s breeding? He’s dreamy!

they do update quickly and have info on the riders/horses.
Ok best announcer ever. “brecceeoli” I don’t think that’s right you know… No I’m not going to try to pronounce that again

I am at work and can’t watch, so I appreciate the running commentary from everyone on this thread.
Looks like the Brits have overtaken the lead from Germany.
Current ranking -
Great Britain - 130.20
Germany - 134.70
And two riders left for each - Michael Jung and William Fox-Pitt.
Hope GBR can hold the lead!
Edited - Now Sweden is in the 2nd place spot! Let’s see if Michael Jung can get Germany back into the top 2.
Weatherford and ALL of you posting up to this point (on like page 2 or 3): THANK YOU! I could not watch this live, so I am “live reading” your comments and what you all said about Opposition Buzz’s round had my heart pounding like I was seeing it with my own eyes. Gosh, how much I appreciate this forum!
(And, yeah, gotta say it–and it’s TRUE: The reason I couldn’t watch it live was because we were expecting – and right now we’re in the midst of – wicked storms, so I had to make sure I got OB’s paternal sister worked o/f! Not seeing that humongous jump of his in her yet, but she sure brings up her landing gear nicely over the little stuff.)
OK, back to my “live” reading!
Oh nice NBC those two jumps I saw from Poland were great! Such great even coverage of all the competitors.
Does Clayton appear to be going at a pace less than swift? Maybe the footing is more slick and he’s cautious but they seem almost dragging.
Oh help - saw on tv that Hawley took a fall and off to hospital - any updates?
another fall… clayton? slipped right after the bank…

He gets the award for flopping helmet cover.
and that’s 12 falls… well that wasn’t fair. Worn footing.
