Ziconic is making another start on Sunday with Victor aboard again. He seemed to respond last time when Victor got after him a bit, so maybe he’ll show a bit more this time.
Hope so! I still believe he has Mama’s running style, but not her size or stride.
I try and try to like Ziconic and it just doesn’t work 
Broke slow yet again and this time not even a strong answering kick like last time.
Anybody know how he did today? I’m simply lost with Thoroughbred Champions being out.

Looked like he was going to put in a good run heading into the turn, but then just flattened out.
Wondering how he’d do over grass(along with longer distance). At this point it can’t hurt anything for them to try something different.
Bummer. I was hoping that maybe Victor could hustle him along like last time. Nothing ventured, nothing gained as far as grass goes.
P.S. This is starting to look like the saga of Barbaro’s brothers.
Or a reminder that a stellar horse doesn’t always pass on their ability… The Bid comes to mind as a thought but there have been many others while others outperform their breeding.
Always why I am interested in seeing how good performers do in the shed… AP? At some point, Beholder.
Sorry that RA had limited opportunities but if she were mine, I still wouldn’t breed her again. Not worth the risk.
