I think there have been Benidetto colts in the past (maybe not this year). Linda will have to tell us. My huppy is thrilled that we are 3 for 3 colts so far this season. No danger of my keeping any of them.:yes::lol:
Well YEA!!! I got a filly this morning by Rotspon out of SPS Wattfee (Walt Disney/Duellant). Tall, long legged, elegant type. 4 matching stockings & perfect blaze. She’s already being the typical Rotspon/Wattfee cross, friendly & wanting people instead of Mama.
YEAH!!!
:lol::lol: I sure understand that sentiment, Mary Lou!
Congrats to everyone- here’s hoping for some pleasant weather so we can get some photos.

Woot! Woot! Another baby boy born. This one is an ET foal from Dominique (Don Schufro/ Rohdiamant) who is now an Elite Mare, by Walnut Farm’s lovely Benidetto (Bellissimo M/ Cordoba). :D:D:D:D:D Chestnut baby boy has chrome up the wazoo and is very long legged and elegant. Pics when he has started to unfold. I need a B name.[/QUOTE]
Congrats, ML! He sounds very snazzy!
How about “Banzai” in honor of our Japanese friends?
I think I am going with “Baroque” for his name. He will be a great candidate for a pas de deux with our earlier Romanov colt Rococo.
Edited to say we have a name - Benitas (Latin for kind or generous) - barn name Beni.

Seriously people - pictures! LOL
Knabstrupper baby!
Black colt with white blanket, hind socks and a blaze.
Sire: Ecuador Skrødstrup KNN
Dam: Rigantonia Anastasia Bonita (Old) SoD, Rosentau.
He a bonny, big, stout fellow, with an endearing personality and quite full of himself. In otherwords a typical Knabstrupper!
It was a fun double header for us last night as our mares who are best friends but bred 18 days apart decided to go within 1.5 hours of each other. Our first time with 2 in one night and it was really nice actually!
First came “Heavenly” by Harvard out of MSB GOV mare Injoy (Ideal/Amerillo/Gepard) - True black filly with 3 ankle high socks and a small star. This is Joy’s 6th foal and is very leggy with a beautiful head. Super friendly people-foal like all of Joy’s are.
Second was “Dreamboat” by Domiro out of MSB AHS mare Wer Est Abenschein (Winnetou West/Bean Dip xx) - Fancy dark mahogany bay colt with two ankle high socks on same side - her only colt in 6 foals - gorgeous dishy face and very modern in type and wonderful attitude as well.
Just waiting on one more mid April by Amazing and we’re done!

Congratulations! I bet you are pooped!
How nice of them to go far enough apart you weren’t spread thin, but close enough together!

Yea people!!! No. one RULE from post numero uno… PICTURES REQUIRED!!!
Big Congradulations to all the new babies. I still have a few months.
EA he IS gorgeous!!
Marie from LazyJSporthorses had her first foal of the year last night at 330am. By Redwine out of Amayzing (Anhiltiner E x Firefly (Fruhlingsball)) Bay filly who’s dressed just like mom, 4 ankle socks and a star. She was a little over 3 weeks early, but was probably the easiest baby I’ve seen. Figured out her legs and the milk bar on pretty much her first try. She has the pics, so she’ll have to post them at some point, but she’s super cute.
Now I’ve just got another 2ish weeks until my mare has her Redwine foal… (mine was “due” first, but I guess they had other plans)
Here are pics of the new baby boy at 2 days old. He is out of EM Dominique (Don Schufro/ Rohdiamant) by Benidetto (Bellissimo M/ Cordoba). I am very happy with his type and what I see so far. I have named him Benitas (barn name Beni).
