Anyone know why Star Empire is listed as DNF? Is he okay? On the NBC recap they just casually said he was too far back but that didn’t make sense to me.
I’ve seen a few ads where the groom is wrapping the leg with vet wrap. I don’t know squat about training horses for racing, but is that how they do it, or is that another 14 hands thing? In my discipline, you never put vet wrap directly onto the leg.

The article on BH states he was eased at the wire, but walked off under his own power. So hopefully nothing serious.
I switched tvs and the sound is fine in here. I think the sound on bedroom tv is seriously messed up.

Not to take away from Tourist, whom has had terrible racing luck in the past & had the perfect trip this time. Congrats to his team.

She was further back than her normal stalking place & then ran into traffic, had to swing very wide around the turn. Yet she still came down the stretch like her tail was on fire!! One more stride & I thing she would have nailed it.

There are several others. I’m not sure that the Classic earnings would even put him in the top 5.
