@Texarkana sending Jingles to you & your filly
Sending good vibes your way @Texarkana ! I hope she bounces back and they can get her sorted out for you soon, with no further issues!
Iām so sorry, @Texarkana. This baby has really put you through quite a roller coaster ride.
Oh no, jingles for the adorable booger baby!!
Sending healing vibes your foalās way. Come on baby, buck up, you can do it!
Itās not for lack of trying, thatās for sure. It was caught early and they threw the book at her. They are pretty sure itās osteomyelitis somewhere in her shoulder but they canāt find a lesion despite types of expensive imaging I didnāt even know existed before this week (and l used to work at the hospital so I thought I was familiar with all their current toys).
I thought 2021 was my bad luck year. Clearly itās just me period.
massive jingles for your foal @Texarkana. what a heartbreaking situation. hoping for another miracle.
So sorry, Texarkana. Sending jingles for your foal.
So sorry to hear Tex, hope baby pulls through!! I canāt imagine all of the expenses youāve incurred on this foal you neither asked nor planned for, plus the stress!! Hang in there, keep us posted on baby.
Jingling like mad from Arizona!!
Iām so sorry @Texarkana! Iām jingling for the little one. I have a HUGE soft spot for STBās. Maybe one day I will get around to breeding one for myself to race.
I hope your foal pulls through @Texarkana. My colt is home and doing well. Excede is a long lasting antibiotic so Iām still worried about how he will do once it wears off. He is starting to feel and look really good. The vet did say he is at risk for joint infection and to watch for any joint swelling. Iām afraid to take my eyes off him.
Gracie is at day 334 today and finally starting to having some udder movement
Here are some pictures. I still have not named him yet. Currently considering Top Honours as a registered name. Still could change my mind on that. I also like Valor or Valiant.
Thanks everyone. Your jingles are working! She is home again with some medication changes. It looks like the crash may have just been med related and she responded really well to changes at the hospital. Sheās getting 7 doses a day of different oral medications right now and sheās feeling well enough to be a total turd about it. Hopefully she continues to improve at home this time around. I told them both to say their goodbyes to the hospital for good.
Coolness!!
Ooooo, I didnāt realize he was so colorful! What a cutie. Glad heās still doing well. Naming is so hard.
