Lucky girl with those big footed horses
She definitely looks to be a “push” ride
?? - it’s not a disparaging remark to have big feet, nor is it a dig at the rider? It’s just a comment on the horse itself.
Obedient though, but looks hard to bend. The shoulder in, half pass, anything with bend she was toe-out-spur-on-hard lol
Ms. Click has a wonderful seat.
I’m saying she’s lucky, big feet are desirable for an event horse
Ho boy, we’ve got a live wire here! Hope she can hold it together.
Meaghan Marinovich-Burdick is in on RIVIERA LU. He looks fun
Honestly not a bad reinback despite the stargazing. I’m impressed!
ahhh this reminds me of my own red horse in the dressage in years past. Stunning horse.
Riviera Lu is listed as a Brazilian Sport Horse mare. Interesting! Sire: Rembrandt Jmen. Dam: Ravena.
Very cool. Shes lovely despite the ride. I would love to ride her.
Woo boy that was a spicy test. Bet that mare jumps like a queen though.
The brief glimmers of relaxation she was incredible. If she can keep her head on with some more miles, she will be a show stopper.
44.5. Not bad at all considering.
I loved the look back from the horse just before the rein back
Interesting backstory on that pair (https://eventingnation.com/meet-red-hills-3-winner-meaghan-marinovich-burdick/):
I Googled because I was curious about the mare’s breeding.
Riveria Lu just won the 3*S in Ocala maybe last month?
I was thinking the same. Poor Meaghan, it looked like her horse just had the atmosphere ‘whelmies’… No helping that in that big of an atmosphere. Fingers crossed for a brilliant XC.
@Larbear right?? She was like ‘are you sure, do I have to do this?? You want me to back up, in here???’
@beowulf Lol could see in the replay where it looked like the rider was kinda saying hey and the horse was like “huh? whut? oh ok”
