No, she ran her hand all the way down both boot shafts (will coleman) after he dismounted
Fortuna is so done with this test. Poor girl!
I liked her stretchy canter though. Shame they couldn’t have done a few rounds of that to relax.
Yes she surprised me with its quality
That would have been so good… She was just getting tighter and tighter.
So interesting that Bobby rides in a race saddle. Another tack thing that makes me wonder…
They were likely recalculating everything just to be sure. Just updated to 20.1.
This cameraman really stinks…why are they just videoing the legs of the horse all the time!!!
Corrections. Jessies Bogue is not doing his first 5*. Also her old horse was Pavarotti not Paparazzi LOL
Wabbit - i find the blanket rubs on the shoulders distracting
(assuming that it are blanket rubs)
he wintered in Canada for the most part LOL
Fun fact: Wabbit (JC Molinaro Kissing) came off the track and was bought as a project/resale by another boarder at the barn I was at. He was my horse’s turnout buddy and made me laugh because he would trot circles around my horse trying to play, and my horse would ignore him and just eat.
If anyone remembers the old Warner Brothers cartoon with the bulldog and the chihuahua that bounced all over and around him, that’s what came to mind
Am I the only one surprised that Thomas is ahead of Tamie & Fleeceworks Royal? Her test yesterday was beautiful and I’m trying to figure out how everyone else is so closely packed around her.
Our Fyl and Sunny didn’t have their best test, but always proud of our boss mares!! onto the fun stuff tomorrow!!
Each test had a few bobbles; perhaps for Thomas, they came at less critical scoring points.
One commentator is getting annoyed with the other
I think (smurf opinion) Michi’s geometry was just so much better. Boyd’s was great, but Michi took that sponge and squeezed every last drop out of it. I agree Boyd’s test was just beautiful.
There could very well be a halo effect, but I don’t think it is undeserved. I did notice that Chipmunk had a lot of tension in the bridle that was not commented on, which I found odd since other (less) noticeable horses had that brought up. Case in point they just brought up “tension in the bridle” and “too much chomping on the bit” with the current competitor (DP and Quantum Leap), although his is more obvious. Sometimes the tension disrupts the overall harmony of the movements, which I don’t think happened in Chipmunk’s case.
Ha! Commentary how this rider’s stirrups are too long.
Jung (very modestly) has always said that accuracy above all else is what he aims for, since he didn’t think Sam and Fischer Roccana were “naturally” talented at dressage. (Rather hard to tell). I still need to rewatch that portion, but it’s possible any minute tension in the bridle is less obvious to the judge versus on camera.
Now that was a reinback.
Yasmin just did a lovely rein back! 8.0 7.0 7.5 scores
She must practice it a lot
