2023 USEF Medal Finals

Clara Propp is also on there at the end.

Her name appeared after one of the picture ads on that list on the Chronicle commentary.

I’m a little sad that the girl who went first this morning on the gray horse did not stay on the standby. I thought she really had a very nice round, especially considering that she had to be the first one in the ring.

I thought he actually founded it?

Thanks. Added her to list.

Did he? I don’t remember seeing him in ads for it until recently.

I like how everybody is swarmed near the in gate, just waiting for the jump crew to finish so they can go in and walk that course.

Me, too!

I’d love more than anything to see Amira win this.

It looks as if Ava got her wish that this course would enable riders to open up a little.

I think the list from CoTH has Caroline Olsen where it should be Caroline Nadalin.

ETA: Also a discrepancy with Campbell Brown vs. Campbell Hudkins.

Me too. I don’t remember if it was last year’s Medal or Maclay, but if I remember correctly she jumped up quite a few spots and hasn’t looked back since.

Has anyone seen the second round course posted anywhere online?

Early in the feed, Sissy commented that Alan had prepared a course but had modifications in mind depending on how riders went today. I’m curious whether this is the original, plus difficulty, or minus difficulty.

Yes, COTH has it at the bottom of their commentary:

Thanks!!!

Some of these turns are the turns I’d force friends to do at our foot jumping shows growing up. Definitely not the most classic turns and rollbacks!

No, 6/7/8 looks a little challenging.

I am wondering if there is a trot fence or something else in there because that is a really strange line for a forward canter.

Tears from the therapeutic riding ads! Playing during the course walk.

I think it would say that on the course if there’s a trot jump.
