Lol. She would find the bright side for sure.

Not to mention that a lot of those kids have to make some really significant choices to get those opportunities, like often giving up every other element of their lives to essentially work full time for the trainers as children.

She is incredibly gracious and constructive.

Timing wise, how are we looking? Still about a 4 o’clock start on the second round?

I think a little later. There’s 20 to go, then they will drag, reset, they have to be given the course, walk it, then warm back up, so 4 seems optimistic to me.

I think it would be almost a miracle if the second round starts by 4:30. It might even be closer to 5:00.

GREAT because my horse decided that he was going to drop a mouthful of his grain down my fleece, and I would really like the opportunity to change my clothes before I sit down with my popcorn for the rest of the show.

Lol.

I love that we live in a world where the horses in this class have names that are four words in Dutch, and also Chocolate Chip 12 and Clover.

I have to say I would be extremely, extremely, extremely hesitant to ever name a horse Chocolate Chip. Or at least a horse that shows over jumps. Lol.

Right. You can get away with it on an Appaloosa pony in the short stirrup and that’s about it.

ETA 5:00 for the start of the second round according to Oliver Kennedy just now.

Oh no, did anyone else see them bring in that second hanging gate?

The Chronicle has some beautiful photos of the horses and riders.

Does everybody else just have a frozen screen now on the live feed with the spinning circle and the X in the middle? I hope that’s not just me.

I did, had to refresh, now getting ads.

Hmm. I’m not sure if that would actually be an improvement. Lol.

Thanks.

I did have to listen to Emil about 10 times, but now it’s back to the course build.

I am wondering if Emil bought that company or bought part of it or if he’s just a spokesman for it.
