According to his record on the USEF website, he has only shown one time this year in a schooling jumper class in August.
Hope he’s alright. One of the cutest!
The kids who ride in the jumpers seem to be comfortable with the course.
The versatility of S-lines definitely playing out here!
That was lovely by Gabriella Curry! Few rubs, but I think she should be in the top 12 of the standby. One of my favorite trips so far.
Isabelle Ehman comes in with a flowing, workmanlike pace but… I think that first rail was rider produced from a little lack of balance. Will be interesting to see how that’s judged. Lovely round otherwise.
I love, LOVE the jumps. Super cool for the riders to be able to show over the same jumps in the Olympics, but I think my favorite is the one representing Bermuda, with the lighthouse and crane(?).
Love that jump too, so simple but beautiful.
Hi Ho Silver indeed.
Goodness. Kate Laborde’s horse was RUDE! Quite well handled on her part.
REALLY well handled. She kicked his ass into gear.
Good for her for getting him around the ring in such good order.
I was afraid he was going to go over.
Appears quite plausible that she has had practice motivating him to act like a grown up and get his ass in the ring.
@skydy me too. Pig behavior. Very good riding on her part.
I feel like Tuff Rider or someone should spnsor a “True Grit” award for a rider who handles a situation like Kate just did.
I do like the fact that they came up with an idea for an award for the rider who gets stuck going first in the order. That is not an enviable spot.
At least that boy got a new saddle pad out of it today.
Shoot, there goes my feed.
Same.
Wait, it’s back again. But with no sound.
It’s dead, Jim.
Back in business!
Uh oh - First fence hatred is catching among the horses now.
