Speaking of the jumps. Did anyone hear what the designs are supposed to be on the standards of 3A and B?
You’ve got Justify and I’ve got Kate’s little bay! Let’s go!!
I was also wondering this. Was going to ask about the lore there.
They are the “jardins a la francais” from Paris, represented as an aerial view. One of my favorite sets of standards from the Paris games.

Ah, oui. Merci!
Did they say who Maxine was riding?
While we’re all making off with people’s horses, I’ll take Ironman, thank you.
Another stellar round by Blake Rowan, put her horse’s feet exactly where she wanted them every stride.
Is Blake the older Rowan sister?
At the rate we going, we will need a couple of big trucks to take all these horses home. Luckily there is no shortage of shipping companies in Lexington.
Yes, Blake is older, Baylee is younger. There was a really cute TikTok where they were asking riders who they thought would win NEHC and Baylee very shyly said “Blake Rowan…”
Who are you stealing?
I’m hooking up the trailer!
Blake is the older. I can’t remember if this is her last year or if she has one more. Baylee rides as 14. Their mother is Brooke D’Angelis.
Was that the first fall we’ve seen? It’s the first one I remember. And that was a little bit of a fluke.
Glad to see she’s up and seems to be OK.
Thanks. I think I’ve met their mother at Traverse City.
Had the same thought watching him. Looks like a blast.
I’m inclined to take the very sweet bay horse that was ridden by Vera (?) earlier. The one that kept going to the other side of the jump. No. Matter. What.
I wonder how much the flat phase will shake things up, and what will be asked by the judges.
I would expect to see a pretty thorough flat test with Cynthia Hankins involved.
With both leg yield and half-pass…
Good for Elizabeth Rinehart. I feel like each time this fall she’s had a little this or that that keeps her out of the standby and that was a good solid trip.
