2024 Maclay Final Thread

Indeed.

Right now, six of the 25 in the class are past winners of an equitation final, and four of the six in the jump off are past final winners.

Plus multiple others who did not win a final, but certainly did the equitation.

Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

May I just say: Props to the jump crew!

They are really putting the hustle on there.

I haven’t found tomorrows Maclay course. Has anyone seen it?

I’d expect to see it around 6AM.

Ah. Okay. I’ll probably not make it for the 1st round but I’ll try.

Trouble sleeping so best to wake for the 2nd round rather than fall asleep in the middle of the first round and miss the second.

No one ever told Brian :laughing:

They are finally realizing their mistake regarding Beat.

Kent threw down the gauntlet! They will really have to run to catch him.

Wow Kent!

That was his major in college and has become his professional specialty.

Love Kent, but rooting for Brian and Jessie!

Yes, he should have it on his business cards.

I would not expect them to post the course far in advance, since otherwise there will be people who would try to practice parts of it as preparation.

I thought that might be the case for holding back until nearer to the class. I’m just so curious and want to see it.

Congrats to Kent, Brian and Alise.

Fall back everyone! Daylight savings time ends tonight.

Great for the kids tomorrow!

So first and second tonight in the GP were past equitation final winners.

Maybe that will serve as extra inspiration for the Maclay kids tomorrow.

I was about to say, see everybody back here in 10 hours. But it’s actually 11 hours with the time change. Yay!

Still, 5am will feel like 6am my time. Ugh.

See you here when I can, I look forward to it very much. :slightly_smiling_face:

Very nice to see the winning grooms getting a significant check as well. And some well-deserved recognition!
