It is on Peacock.

I’ve read the food situation in the Olympic village is horrible. The food they serve to athletes and coaches, and other attendees.
Oh, yeah, they’re done. And while they’ve moved on to tennis now, they also did a minute or two of split screen with tennis earlier, which is what I was referencing as the shared bit.
Probably gonna go hook my laptop up to the tv, because I liked seeing XC on a bigger screen
I have a very good VPN. Watched live on Australian TV and replays (complete) on CBC. ALL had John/Lucinda commentary.
Quoi? En France? Pas possible. Source, please.
I have Peacock so I’ll try to watch it later. thanks
Yes, security has been very lax (but not in a bad way - they do have bag checks and metal detectors), meaning we can bring in as much food and beverages as we want. I haven’t seen a large backpack be turned away yet.
There are potable water stations around the equestrian stadium. They are stainless steel and look like hand washing stations. Food is limited and I didn’t look at the menu but it looks like hot dogs/pretzels, typical stadium food.
It is a HIKE to the equestrian stadium. You go to the palace and take a shuttle but then it’s another 20 minutes on foot to the stadium. If it has rained recently or it’s going to rain, bring wellies for the walk in. We bought some for xc and it was a wise choice. Have a wonderful time, happy to help!
Elbows to die for.
This is taken from a Fortune magazine article, but you have to be a subscriber to read the whole thing.
I was very surprised about the food issue.
There have been food complaints for multiple Olympics 🤷 similar to the complaints about the athletes’ rooms, etc
Yes, Coco is the last of the tennis players from the U.S. in her part of the village. The rest moved to a hotel, or other rental. Too many people, too few bathrooms.
Laura Collett posted on her IG story that Dan lost a shoe around fence 12
Accidentally posted this in the h/j Olympic thread, because apparently I cannot keep the various Olympic threads straight.
For those of you who have USA Channel, information showed it’s doing over an hour of cross country tonight starting at 6pm CST
Just saw on Facebook Ros got the 15 back.

Can you share a citation for that? I don’t see that update on the official results page. I was hoping she would win that appeal- it looked like her foot knocked the flag and the horse was squarely through it, but nobody put me in charge of anything.

Edit; I must have misunderstood that post - she didn’t mean given back. But looking at the picture it should have been !
we are enjoying living vicariously through you!
Unrelated to anything else olympics/eventing, my hard to fit/picky about saddle fit chestnut mare is very happily going in an absolutely ancient Hermes Steinkraus. Like late 80s vintage. The fit defies all rules of modern saddle-fitting aesthetic but they have clearly been doing something right for a long time.
