I can’t believe Chris had time! What a great ride. He looks so good on a horse! And of course, Michi looked perfect…until the rail.

Scoring is working again!
Watching Shadow Man I was thinking that they were going around like it was Derby Finals, looking precise and elegant but unhurried. A stride less in a turn would have done it! A gorgeous ride and an incredible horse.

yeah, and with the scores not updating, I forgot FR and GB still had 2nd rider to go
I’m not sure if Evalina Bertoli’s horse jumps particularly hard or if she’s really snapping her upper body closed over the fences but it looks like it would almost give whiplash.
She looks like she grew up riding big eq lol

disappointing ride for Karl, he is still top Canadian, but will not make the top 25.
interesting with that black band on this grey. I wonder if it is to prevent spur rubs.

Yes. Particularly if the horse is thin-skinned and would get a rub if you just looked at it funny. I have mixed feelings about them in competition because if the horse had blood from the spur or heel you couldn’t see it.
I just scared my dog swearing about Colorado Blue’s 8.
