Ancan Valkyrie nose to nose with her sire, Ancan MidKnight Salute. He is out of a half sister of my Lola. They are both for sale.
She is molting out to be a dark sooty buckskin.

One month old update for the filly o/o my former mare!
She’s filling out really nicely and definitely has a better hip than my former mare. They are out full time in a 10 acre pasture

Patriot is two weeks old today and starting to show more of his QH blood as he bulks out.
He is an exceptionally self-assured baby. He and Carina are out with the full herd now, and he didn’t clack once as he met all his family members. When they come in twice a day to eat, he immediately crashes in the shavings and is OUT (despite napping completely normally and frequently in the field). I can do anything to him while he’s down - halter on and off; play with his ears, lips, and hooves; put ointment on his superficial scrapes from being in the clinic. He will humor me by rolling up to sternal to get his Foal-Aide paste in the morning, then stretch back out. 
The boy knows what he wants in life. He reminds me so much of his “cousin” Sydney in how unbothered and in-your-face friendly he is. He’s like a little round bouncy ball when he isn’t snoozing - always running, crow hopping, and otherwise making his mom crazy trying to keep up with him.

I forgot to update after Finn’s most recent milestone (was on vacay with my kiddo for a Dance the World event in FL), but he got his first trim on July 4th and he was just the calmest, most cooperative lil man! Was a little unsteady on 3 legs so i needed to simultaneously be behind him so he could lean on me and also hold his leadrope, but he was SOOOO good! He is the most laidback lil guy. It was clearly a mentally exhausting ordeal though because he immediately passed out afterward and napped for an hour, LOL.

@ASBJumper He was so cute a couple of days ago…napping (of course) with his little nose in the shavings (he was sternal). He’s truly a gem, this one!
