Aiden update.. Posted Pictures! Must end the Aiden thread. Aiden is doing excellent. THANK YOU COTH!!! (137) 1/23

Would ya look at those ROSY CHEEKS! I love the big smile on his face in the “scar” picture. It’s like he’s saying, “Check out my COOL tattoo!”

What a fighter he is! And how blessed we all are to be able to share in his story through this board.

YIPPEE!

Aiden and all his cyber Aunts and Uncles are ALL breathing easier tonight.

I hope the next update (and picture) is Aiden cuddled happily in his Mommy’s arms. His Mother’s touch can make all the difference in his recovery from here on in. And I know that holding a pink little baby will help heal Lisa’s and Joey’s anxiety.

I had to edit this when I saw that we are now on PAGE 100!!! This is not a thread, this is a book! And one with a happy ending.

I'm an organ donor. Are you?

I too had a lot of trouble finding the news within the happy thoughts - then I realized that the first post has the time for each update on it - that makes it a lot easier to find the right page for news.

“We got the call for a donor liver” is on page 20. See also pages 34, 40, 42.

I am at Tech all day and I can run by with some lunch or snacks!!! I will check back later.
I am real close by, let me know if you need anything!!!

Poor little baby. Oh man…keep on trying little guy. So many folks want to meet you some day. Hang in there!

I’m so dissappointed for Aiden and his family. I just want to hug everybody…

Prayers, jingles, hugs! One more positive step, Aiden!

Just got home from a very emotional Christmas Eye service at my church~ I’m always OK until the very end, when the lights go out and we all light our candles & sing Silent Night to the handbells…I always lose it, I think of my wonderful Grandmother & how I miss her so much.
Little Aiden had so many prayers going up to heaven from me…and to come home to this glorious news! My Christmas just CAN’T get any better!!! You GO, little PINK baby, you! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Love, SUZ

Bethe, I’m proud and happy to be one of those folks here who have had the pleasure of meeting you in person.

More jingling and prayers for Aiden and all.

Lisa,

Your little Aiden and your brave family are touching so many lives at this very moment (surely it is mine and has been since I’ve been living your ordeal, in spirit, with you).

The renewed sense of love, hope and faith that is flowing among those of us, whose lives would probably never have been connected so meaningfully otherwise, has all of our curb chains linked together now.

This collective love, hope and faith is powerful “stuff” and hard at work for Aiden, for you, for Joey and especially for the hospital team who WILL pull your baby through this.

Yes, all of our curb chains are linked together now and jingling louder than ever…

Keep the faith, Lisa…and if you waver and if you tire, don’t worry – this ring of curb chains that is stretched across the continent is making so much racket God will surely hear us.

Watching and waiting from Australia. Thanks for the updates.

More dreams about Aiden last night–all good ones! This morning, more prayers that today will bring continued improvement and good news…all my angels have been called and are on the job!

How long does transplant surgery take, anyway? I hadn’t been to the board in a couple of days, and now I’m afraid to leave for missing another update!

Last thought last night before sleep and first thought this morning upon waking:

“Please God, help Aiden and his family.”

(A very humble thank you for listening.)

As they say here in “the horse capital of the world” (sorry, Ocala):

Lisa…So happy to read even more good news! You warned us that there would be bumps, but you didn’t tell us about the mountains! But no matter…our little Hawke nestling managed to soar over them.

Hey! WE NEED PICTURES!!!

Photo of Aiden at Mason House!

Photo! Pho-to! PHO-TO!

OK, im as delirious as everyone else…

all the best, Hawks.

Go, Baby Aiden!

The day is coming when you will be told about this time in your life, and Thank God, you won’t believe any of it!
Because you will be a typical, happy healthy, unconcerned, self-absorbed boy!

Go, Baby Aiden!

What a great story. The kindness of everyday heroes never ceases to amaze me!

Aiden has become a celebrity here at our Toronto home, too. My 10 yr old daughter and hubby are always asking me for “the latest”. It’s been great to share the good news with them.

Huggs to all!

I never thought of it that way! Aiden does have two “Birth” days now!

I just love these pictures so much. I look at that gorgeous little boy and I melt all over. Would it be selfish to ask for more?

I love kids so much but when they are at that age, you just can’t help but marvel at their beauty! If I said it once, I’ll say it a million times over, Aiden is EXQUISITE! With a beautiful mom and dad, how can he lose? I am continuing to pray that his good health remain constant - that Lisa and Joey will soon experience what it’s like to be parents in a sense of what it’s supposed to be like -preventing Aiden from throwing things in the toilet and being dismayed (but it’s pretty funny too at the same time) when he has painted in permanent marker all over the new furniture (black being the choice of color) and then runs away and “hides” behind the chair just knowing you can’t see him! Everytime my daughter does something that gets on my nerves, I think of Lisa and Joey and Aiden and I scoop her up and hug her instead of scolding - you guys have taught me to have patience with my own daughter.

Aiden is so incredibly special and I know you and Joey know that - but he really holds a special place in all our hearts. Won’t be long before he starts exercising those legs and begins to walk!!!

to Aiden and his loving family.

My daughter woke me up very early this morning and after we opened our presents she said “You need to go check on Aiden!”.

Several weeks ago I told my daughter (nine years old) about Aiden. Since that time we have had so many wonderful conversations about family, love, health, etc. When I told her about the baby who died, but gave a part of his body to allow Aiden to live, she said some things that I will remember forever. Oddly enough, I feel as though we have been given a gift from Aiden - a opportunity to talk about the things that are most important in our lives.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas Day together.
