I’ve just finished Breeding Ground by Sally Wright (an Edgar-winning writer), a new mystery set in the bluegrass horse-breeding country in the l960’s. The Kindle version is 2.99 on Amazon. I liked the writing and the characters, and found the horse background authentic. Her previous mystery series is also well-written and has been very popular.
