Another New Horse - It's Bo!

@2DogsFarm click on the little box with the numbers (1140/1140) and push the slider up . Took me a while to discover that little feature

Even easier. Click the box and then click the title of the thread and it’ll take you to the 1st post. If you know a post number or date there is also a jump to button.

I just click the title and it jumps to the first post.
Swipe the side bar down and it slides itself back to the last post.

The tight cropping won’t allow me to put them in a collage together without cutting off heads and legs, but I’ll repost the first and last pictures:

Talk about a glow-up! Especially when you factor in the serve vax reaction. Thanks for sharing Bo’s journey with us

Just this Easter I’ve been wondering what ever happened to COTH peeps. Yay you for bringing out the COTH peeps for your horses!
Come on, ponies – eat the peeps! :hatched_chick: :hatched_chick: :hatched_chick:

@Heinz_57 The difference in his eyes between the two pictures is profound. The light in them now, compared to the misery and worry showing there before. The trust and interest in their expression.
And the glow on his coat.
This horse really loves you.

That is a very kissable nose, especially with the little bit of white to mark the perfect spot.

Yesterday I promised Bo I’d ride him today. When I went out with my armfuls of tack in late morning, he was taking a siesta, so I rode Elmo first. By the time we finished, he was up and ready for his turn. Surveying the construction progress of Mr. Heinz’ shop:

He started out motivated and marched right off, but after some meandering he was very much convinced that we were done now. He wanted me to be convinced too, and alternated between growing roots, backing up, and throwing out little kick-hops at the special sticky spot. Next time I will be better prepared to encourage him, because let me tell you slapping him on the butt with one glove does absolutely nothing. :joy:

All kidding aside, I am not trying to push him TOO much, at least not until I’ve covered the bases with saddle fit/bodywork/joint support, which will happen over the next few months (money does not grow on trees, Bo).

Pffffbbbbttt! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
These are animals whose skin twitches when a FLY lands on them!
Bo knows darn well what that gloveslap was for :smirk:
Perhaps he’s too dignified to respond to such Yayhoo tactics?
Up your game @Heinz_57
He looks so cute demanding FOOD! NOW!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Glove was the only thing I had :joy: he just looked back at me like LOL No.

Tomorrow I will carry the big stick (and probably won’t even need it).

No Shame
I have video - VHS, from the Olden Days - of me barehandedly buttsmacking my QH who decided jumps away from the ingate were NoGo :smirk:
At a local rated show.
Videographers used the clip in the opener to everyone’s tape of that show.
We live in Infamy :persevere:

That is next on the build list, but I still haven’t decided exactly what I want. I’m pretty sure I’d be divorced shortly if I commandeered his shop as my barn!
