Happy Friday everyone! Miss Marvel says Hello.
She is going through a growth spurt and suddenly looks very long and lean. We are about mid way through construction on a cat tree. The Hubby decided we could make a better one than the one I picked out online.

Right? She’s SO mistreated and maladjusted! Clearly the OP has done a horrible job - oh, no, wait, she has done a FANTASTIC job! That kitten is playful, healthy, happy, and totally secure in who she is.

Hiding in the flowers and getting in the shoe and getting in the bowl are typical cat things. She’s growing up just fine.

I think the dogs would claim abuse at this point - being “played with” by a teeny kitten with little sharp teeth and claws must be torture. lol

Hi everyone. Sorry it’s been a while. Covid hit us pretty hard but we are ok now.
Miss Marvel is doing fantastic. She was 2.5 lbs at her last appointment. I think she looks a tad on the thin side but the vet assures me it’s normal for a growing kitten.
What is the general consensus on age for spaying?? The vet said as soon as she is 6 months. Sound good, or is it better to wait till she is finished growing?

OMG she’s gorgeous!
My vet won’t spay until they’re 5lbs. That’s usually about the 5-6 month mark.

My vet recommends 5-6 months for spaying. If you wait too long she’ll start going into heat and that won’t be fun for you.
Good to know you’re over Covid and Marvel is still doing well.

Miss Marvel is an adorable little scamp. Your dog is so patient to put up with all those kitten hijinks and sharp toes and teeth. I love the paws in the air shot and her attempt to look like a little angel in the last pic.
