you know, I do have to stand up for Barney here though: He was very adamant to go after criminals! Going undercover, wrestling criminals, interrogating suspects, drawing composite scetches.
He would have arrested the lot, waiting for Andy to sort it out!

I have another question for @Seeker1 - if you were frequently at Hawthorne Hill to inspect RG’s work and to serve brunch, why didn’t you attend any shows LK had entered so you could cheer her on and offer support. I mean you are so heavily invested in this sport and part of the reward is watching evidence of your investment in the ring.

I didn’t even THINK about his involvement with the recordings.
But weren’t there allegations that there were texts between he, LK and RG, and he was fully aware of the fact that RG was placing recording devices around the farm?

Do we know if there is a list out there yet regarding depositions? I would imagine MBs team will ask to depose JK eventually…

Things must be getting stressful in Camp Kanarek. I wonder if they are discussing settlement offers yet? Might be wise to begin considering such a thing, and limiting damage and expenses, and just moving on with life.
And just think, many details might remain private if they just negotiated a settlement with MBs team now, and LK agreed to it. And that might be more comfortable for Seeker than having the closet door yanked open with respect to all the family skeletons.
Let’s pray for her. May the Good Lord guide LK, and get her to see the light when it comes to learning that there is a time and place when it’s smart to back down and make peace.

I have not asserted that I know for a fact that there is coordination among posters via PM in their “approach” to posters they disagree with. (What others have dubbed a conspiracy). I suspect there is.
I have no way of knowing there is, just as you have no way of knowing that there isn’t, having assured me that you are not a mod.
I thought you had asserted that you knew for fact that there was no coordination via pm, and was pointing out that you would have no way of knowing that, unless you were a mod. I apologize for calling your assertion “blithe”.
I’m not offended by your calling me “paranoid”. (That may or may not be sarcasm. I’m not sure.)
I wonder why MB and MHG were both afraid of JK. LK testified that she had written that MB was “deathly afraid” of her father. MHG, if I recall correctly, asked her own father to come over to the property because she was afraid of JK. Why were MB and MHG both afraid of a ~70 year old man (not sure of exact age)?

JK has been known to throw his weight around on LK’s behalf to help her get her way. Until one has the courage to stand up to his bluster, it isn’t known that it is all a bluff. I have personal knowledge of two such instances with people in NC (no, I am not going to share their stories and you will need to trust me).

I’m wondering the same thing!!!
I also am wondering if she is being encouraged to find new accommodations for her equines. I have no direct knowledge of the farm where she is currently boarding… but… even if they like LK and have a good relationship with her, I would imagine at least some of their other clients are nervous about her presence on property. If they stand to lose multiple clients because of LKs continuing presence and the surrounding dressage community sentiment regarding this entire matter…
Sooner or later a business decision will need to be made, and she will be asked to leave.
JMHO. It’s inevitable.
Which brings us right back to the issue of rejection, narcissistic injury, and narcissistic rage.

There was a sidebar/objection that eventually got the mike cut off, during LK’s cross, where Mr B was trying to nail whether or not it was JK or ED that provided council on the recordings. Specifically, Mr B had a text from JK and he was asking LK about it (OBJECTION) discussion follows where you can hear Judge T talking about the text saying it isn’t addressing legality, it’s addressing admissibility…
Anywho, there’s texts. About the recordings. From dad.

As for the paranoia and derailing - I concur. The KKlan and supporters are in a complete frenzy about something.
Possible reasons:
- MB is getting closer to being released;
- Discovery for the civil litigation is getting very, very interesting;
- SS/USEF are proceeding with their investigations;
- Various involved parties, including attorneys and possibly even Judge Taylor, have been advised someone associated with KKlan has insinuated they committed or condoned perjury during the criminal trial;
- Whatever else I have forgotten…

They’re still in written discovery for a little longer (through August 1st) . Per the current court order:
Fact witness depositions may begin starting on August 2, 2022 and are to be completed by November 30, 2022;
So that should be interesting.
