Don’t try police what I am to post Eggbutt. I know you hate me but your helicopter monitoring of my posts is boring.
The world doesn’t exist only in the USA. I’m sure there are cases where someone was paid as a victim to be on TV at some point. I can’t say 100% certain life or death either way.
What I stated was what I know, with a disclaimer to avoid exactly this. Do you really have nothing better to do than try and argue with me over nothing. It’s laughable people like your post replies too replying to me. I literally was saying the same thing you said. Move on.
I have seen reference to this even for people who move from a city to a quiet secluded place. Apparently it is more difficult for the average person to get used to quiet than to acclimate to noise.
It’s a real feel of 103 degrees out so I’m hiding out inside and just now catching up on this thread.
I genuinely think it’s great your hospital offers individual therapy. The 4 I’ve had experience with did not. Probably quite obvious to say but each hospital is unique and has different protocols.
I hope MB is positively moving forward after all of this. It would be silly to say a psychiatric hospital doesn’t offer treatment - I hope he is getting the care he needs and is making improvements each day.
Well, considering this is the hospital that handles the insane criminal population, how much therapy do you think they are really aiming for generally?
However, I read the situation like this…the freedoms allowed to the patients on whatever unit he is actually on will be a big indication of if he’s a danger to himself and others, which is what the evaluation is supposed to be about. At some point though, the fact that he is not a criminal and has rights will come into play. He probably will have a lot of legal leverage to seek providers of his own choosing after the initial hearing.
They are a maximum security facility so I imagine that visitation might be similar to still being in jail. That being said, as his level of commitment changes based on evals (and corresponding court orders) he would be allowed more freedom. My hope though is that he can get out of there soon, even if it’s just to step down to a different, not maximum security, inpatient care facility.
So much depends on the findings of that first evaluation and hearing, and what level of security/commitment has been determined he needs. Hopefully that hearing happens soon so he at least has a plan and a path moving forward.
@ekat, regarding the civil trial, the order to produce documents that was posted today said the Morris County Prosecuters Office were to produce 81 audio files extracted from electronic devices recovered during the criminal investigation. I am assuming that SGF wants them. How might they be used against plaintiff in the civil case? Just to know what is on them or would they be able to sue for secretly recording conversations?
It doesn’t seem like it’s a huge deal to the moderators if the discussion wanders off-topic a little bit, but generally still stays related to the case.
The personal discussions about some of the people involved in the case seem to have a tendency to get the threads locked.
I tried but it didn’t work for me. I don’t think technology is my friend. It was on the civil case site if any tech savy peeps want to link it. That would be appreciated!
