I was puzzled at the time I saw those posts and thought she was referring to the Bob McDonald case since that had been recent news. But at some point I came to realize that she was insinuating that the Kundrums (sp?) had “bought” Ali Brock’s position at USEF by offering a major sponsorship of some type of USEF program or award.

Based on internet sleuthing….Ali is Leif Aho’s trainer (owner of Paradigm where she is boarding in FL). A few LK posts mention the lack of chatter about the cross ties and how they gladly gave her permission to put up cameras. And yes, if you listen carefully, the prosecution tried to bring up the “fraud” on cross but it was quickly objected to and the trial moved on.

MHG apparently hooked up with Debbie for some amount of training after she left MB’s farm based on a FB post thanking her for her help toward some goal…

It is not a coincidence that LK posting about things in regards to SS that obviously read as her talking about herself by talking about SS feature in both the SS and McDonald threads.

I doubt they would give her permission to put up cameras or any other recording devices after what came to light about her antics with MB and others. That sounds more like LK’s usual “People who recognize how great I am, love me so much that they can’t help but say “Yes!” when I ask for something!” posturing.

Has she really quit riding, as someone way, way up thread said?

The horses don’t care as long as there is turnout, but one can ride without a trainer session ya’know.

If she loved it that much and is now not riding, I think that speaks volumes to loving the lifestyle, not the rides. I think that is sad .

I don’t think anyone has any idea what she’s doing other than posting on YouTube chats and reliving the trial. That said, I don’t know anyone who is actively trying to figure out what she’s doing either.

Except when you are telling us all the latest you heard from your so called sources. @eggbutt has said that she heard LK is not longer riding and the substitute trainer while the main trainer was out of country recently quit.

I was thinking that LK’s rant on the SS thread about “fraud” at USEF was prompted when she learned that Brock was going to be a witness for the defense. ???

It’s way older than the witness list, and it’s been featured several times over the last 2-3 years. I don’t think the vague version was very long after the shooting….6 months or so…

Just jumping off here. But I really have to wonder just who is actually doing all the flagging. Doesn’t it seem that flagging for calling behavior “junior high” or “juvenile” seem a bit thin skinned for the board population? Don’t we see much worse in the CE on a daily basis? And indeed, I was definitely given this information (regarding the trainer) by someone removed from the inner circle shortly after she returned from NJ. It quickly became common knowledge in the area and I heard it three more times from others. Are you saying this information is incorrect?

Thanks for that background info. Now the timing and reason for LK’s ravings about “fraud” in regards to USEF make more sense. And yes, it is very odd to be saying that any of her rants make sense, but I at least now have a better understanding of what triggered her.

No one would permit someone putting up their own cameras. No one. If I had a boarder who asked that I’d say sure you can, at your own barn on your own property. If you feel it’s necessary here, then it’s best you leave.

think some are being a bit too black and white or extreme re MB being delusional. Just because you’re delusional doesn’t mean that you reject ALL reality or that some things aren’t in fact true

The original, vague version, was plastered as a on a CotH FB link to an article. It got very little to no reaction, and so it was at some point posted here, and again got little to no reaction.
