He did outright say it. I think he was trying to make up for what the two defense experts said about the things that were true making his delusions seem more real.

Substance abuse can do it also, or when used after trauma that has stunted development (ie self medicating) it can compound the damage already there prior.

Lordy, she’s writing in the third person again - and referencing that “letter from jail”, the letter that she shared around to utterly random folk in the dressage world she’d never met, thinking it was some kind of stake in his heart, when all it showed was how caring he was about his fellow inmates, with no mention of her, the incident, or the trial at all.

It’s like nothing really sinks in, she just keeps repeating the same things over and over regardless of actual facts, or what’s gone on. It’s such odd behaviour for an adult, it’s more like what you’d get from a small child.

Arrested Emotional Development - usually caused by some kind of serious psychological trauma at a very young age (such as abuse, neglect, or accident). The person gets “stuck” emotionally at the age at which the trauma occurred.

Ssssshhhh now. You are not supposed to point out the rants and rages, the threats and nonsense… the glaring reasons that any barn run by anyone with a beating heart would want her to leave. Posting sh-stuff like that online for all to see would not get her a welcome at many other barns (even with daddy trying to sort things out) … when she has made her tactics well known. Empty stalls are better than that kind of OTT drama - and I know this from sad experience.

So, back to the topic of the thread…I know there are posters here who work in mental health. Is there anyone out there that can give a general (not specific to this or any case) overview of what this assessment period looks like? I know NJ says the Krol acquittees are to be evaluated by a psychiatrist, but what does that mean, generally?

Also, I’ve read more than I ever dreamed of about Krol hearings. Other than knowing it’s a closed courtroom, I still don’t know much about how those proceed so if anyone has any insight there, that would be cool, too.

I find it very sad that apparently none of her close friends or anyone in her family appears to be trying to take her aside and help her out or advise her about this. None of the sh-stuff she is posting now helps her upcoming civil case in any way whatsoever so either she does not care or she thinks she is untouchable and smarter than everyone else.

I am not so convinced that her family hasn’t tried to get her to seek “help.” She has boasted about having “multiple personalities,” which indicates to me that she was at one point at least evaluated by a psychologist or psychiatrist. She may or may not have undergone any continuing treatment or counseling sessions, but her behavior over the past several years certainly seems to indicate that she has not been under the care of mental health professionals for some time. Or maybe she is “going along with the gag” to placate family (so the money faucet doesn’t get turned off), but is just telling the shrink what she thinks he/she want to hear and then goes on her merry way, without one ounce of desire to truly change her ways. (And in fact, may not be psychologically capable of understanding that she needs to change her ways.)

Did you forget your conspiracy theory? Unable to let it go that you were wrong? Can’t accept that most of us don’t go around flagging each other without significant cause.

I was pointing out that @equkelly and @RND must have been flagged by people other than me in order to get banned.

You do realize that people can get banned without being flagged? And constantly tagging banned posters is a very imperious YD kind of thing to do… and just plain pointless. I am bemused that some here have adopted her style…

My question on the technical forum was asking whether a poster with a flagged post was notified as to who flagged it. No one answered my question, so I’m back to assuming that the identity of the flagger is not conveyed to the poster, although obviously the mods would have that information.

This is another tactic that confuses me. Why post a question on a forum that you want the moderators to answer? Why not simply PM the mods and ask the question? You aren’t the only one I’ve seen do this and usually there isn’t a response from the moderators.

Why do you continuously appoint yourself the COTH posting etiquette police? It’s hilarious.

The irony of this statement is amusing or alarming - I am not really sure which…

Oh my gosh, this from the person who incessantly posts instructions to other posters on how to post, when to post, when not to post.

Again - irony. Or maybe just plain disingenuous… YD was the one who loved to lecture everyone on how to post, when to post., when she felt you were allowed to post etc. No one else in these threads even comes close to that… but some are trying very hard.

The current obsession with flagging posts and tagging other posters incessantly - even banned ones - is just… odd.

As far as editing or deleting posts go, I edit for typos and clarity - always right after posting… and never go back and change the context or meaning of any post. Not even if I have gotten a bit… perturbed… at someone.

1. No, I didn’t realize someone could get banned without being flagged. How would a poster be banned without someone bringing their behavior to the attention of the mods by flagging the offensive posts?

2. Is it considered bad behavior by the mods to “tag” or mention a banned poster? I mentioned both Equkelly and RND, and happened to do so by using their full screen name with the @. Are you saying its OK to mention a banned poster but just not OK to include the @??? You and others are constantly bringing up YD; is it acceptable to mention a banned poster as long as one omits the @? What difference does it make whether one happens to include the @?

Oh i continue to pray for her (eggbutt) to find happiness and the best version of herself. She is a particularly stubborn case as she has most likely been tramatized, abused, and/or bullied many times. This creates much more than average anger…need for attention, lack of empathy…lack of sympathy. She indeed needs the prayers of many. I truly pity her allowing my family and dressage to rent so much space in her head particularly since she is not even a dressage rider as per her own admission.

Seems like you “think” you know what is true which is truly laughable as you claim to know so much without any relationship to the perp or victim. I, on the other hand, I am the victim’s mom and lived much of this trauma first hand. I find it truly amusing when you and others make definitive assertions about what happened and you have absolutely no clue…well it would be funny if it weren’t so sad.
