I have not heard of any actual signed contract and what has been said indicates the use of informal verbal agreements, stemming from the discussions between the interested parties, those being MB and JK-LK/RG.
She had no such plans. I think you and many others here should start careers as fiction writers. However…the books probably wouldnt be that good or interesting.
Vested interest? What would that be? We are here discussing the case. The only interest you have is psycho analyzing people, and otherwise deflecting from our legit discussion of the case - in this case the civil proceeding which, if it continues, will pummel your families reputation into the ground btw
But you seem to want to keep us from discussing the case or otherwise take action to cause the thread to close.
So sit back while we discuss the case and what people think will happen and what direction it will take.
That was my understanding also. Dr. Schlessinger seemed to think that since MB’s fears were real about LK/RG being out to get him, they couldn’t be considered delusions. He also made the point that MHG was also in fear of them, and asked “Was she also delusional?”.
He implied that since MB wasn’t delusional - because he had real, legitimate fears - then he couldn’t be considered insane.
The paradox is that, in so alleging, he confirmed that LK/RG were indeed deliberately harassing and tormenting MB and MHG. And apparently the jury got that message.
You’re right, if he had chosen door #1, it’s possible that she would refused to vacate by August 22. That’s all part of door #1. But he never gave her the opportunity to vacate within 30 days.
I would have requested she leave earlier, and negotiate a buyout of some form, and if I couldn’t stomach the expense of the buyout, wait out the thirty days without escalating the conflict with the intimidation campaign, even if the likelihood of her honoring the 30 days was less than 100%.
You’ve pointed out that in NJ, as in many states, the law favors tenants in a lot of ways. She was a legal tenant, and the law is the law.
It is funny you ask that….there is evidence that MB kept really good records of things like training agreements. LK has never admitted to written contracts…but has previously talked about (and subsequently deleted) who was involved in negotiating with MB for the renovations and has made quite a bit of commentary about enforcing contracts…
How much more negotiation do you want? Per testimony, his lawyer spent at least a week, maybe two, negotiating. On Aug 2nd, they thought, along with her dad, that she was moving on out that weekend. And then she said nope. So notices were sent.
Why do you keep skipping over the negotiations that happened?
