Barisone assessment

I doubt they would send it addressed directly to MB. And they would (presumably) have it sent by someone not named in the “no contact” directive.

But as others have stated, the staff at AK might very well just put it in File 13, without even looking at it. And as I (and others have stated), if they DO look at it, they will become convinced they have the wrong person in their care.

If daddy K was negotiating the exit, doesn’t it stand that he may have negotiated the entrance, iow her business relationship wrt the training, boarding and tenancy?

More to the point, what legal authority does he have to do so?

It was hilarious after the fact, since nobody was hurt. In the moment, it was pretty darn scary, particularly since there were jumps in the ring, so I also worried that the kid would get her head whacked on a jump standard as the pony was spinning around with her. She had a helmet on, but still. Luckily, we managed to grab him before that happened.

I wonder who actually helped you with this post! I am intrigued that you, or your prompter, believes all must be dressage riders to have any interest or opinions or expertise about dressage or this case. How utterly ignorant of you or your prompter. Yes, at 72 years of age I no longer ride. Does that mean I am no longer involved in the sport of dressage? Deeply involved. Does that mean I am not acquainted with several people connected to this case and care deeply about the injustices done to so many by your family? What an absolutely ridiculous comment on your part. Apparently you felt your comment would belittle me and put me in my place, right? Sounds just like the bully tactics of your child. Fascinating.

Huh? Where did I say I have a sadism playground? Wow! Someone is fantasizing again.

And, MANY of us have a “vested interest” in this case.

It is my understanding that LK was the one who negotiated with MB for her arrangement, until MB went to JK after LK was acting up and causing trouble and asked him to pull her out. She testified that JK was paying - whether indirectly or directly, I do not know - for the horse’s care and everything associated with that, while MB was to be compensated for the on-site training and lodging of LK with farm labor from RG. I recall that at one point, she had claimed on SM to be working for MB.

I also thought that was a weird comment re the dressage riding. Well, the whole comment was weird, but still. Do people that watch and chat about football, baseball, hockey, etc. All play that sport too? No. There are many ways to be involved with dressage and horses, it’s not all about riding.

**Just remember @eggbutt if there is ever a problem again like the LK situation it’s EASY to compel the removal of the horses. It can’t be stopped. Horses aren’t tenants and have no tenancy rights. Can’t be delayed. Give notice and if they aren’t removed, remove them for the boarder.

I’m sure the tenant will go then too much much faster.**

Well, he pays the bills from his money he gets at the bank…

So when asked specifically about a lawsuit, he kind of dodges the question and says he thought the purpose of the attorneys was to uphold their original deal.

Whut??

In what capacity? If she claimed to be getting any sort of compensation for anything involving teaching or training horses, then she is not an amateur, according to USEF rules.

What a sad outcome to all of this.

That kindness will be taken advantage of,

And that extortion is the answer to a tenant that refuses to leave.

@eggbutt, there are some individuals in this thread who have miserable existences and it is clear they are trying to make you suffer as well. Fortunately, you are not in their shoes.

But we never heard what that original deal was, the scope, and who negotiated it and agreed to it. Correct?

That would depend entirely on who was testifying on which day, and in some cases, which hour. The deal changed frequently under oath.

Was this a self-diagnosis, or from a psychiatrist? Maybe Dr. Google?

If they were banned from the barn after hours then who was to unplug the dryer? They have to sneak in to unplug the dryer? In the workout black dance attire the worker dubbed a ninja outfit?

It is my understanding that she was doing - in her words - labor for MB, involving the horses and other barn-stuff at the farm and shows being attended. I don’t exactly remember what was said beyond the general statement of working for him and that she had posted a picture in relation to it, saying she was happy/excited or something along those lines.
