Barisone assessment

Oh, I am sure they are well aware that proof they were very wrong has been posted. It is not typical for them to actually comment on things that are not fitting their fun.

Oh, that stinks. How horrible. I’m so very sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss @Fiesta01!

Yep, another attack on me - a pattern evidencing a really unhealthy obsession.

But, silver lining, you and are a good PM buddies now, so the baseless accusation super backfired which I find hilarious and such karmic justice.:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Does Trubandloki also have a rule that says you can’t apologize?

Nah, @trubandloki is a good egg who does a lot of heavy lifting for the rest of us by QFPing when she can.

Trub has manners. Others, not so much.

The current situation with Currently Horseless proves why QFPing is important when dealing with people like some of those present on this thread!

@MHM @cutter99
Thanks. :kissing_heart:

Once again, you are completely missing the point, deliberately or otherwise. Posters don’t get upset about editing or deleting for “any” reason.

Only when the reason is to deny or mislead regarding previous statements.

But you already knew that.

Edited to add: Did you see how I only quoted the one section of your post that was relevant to my reply?

It’s not that hard to do. If I can do it, anyone can do it.

So sorry about your mare.

Yes - we did get a friendship out of it, so there’s that! :kissing_heart: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Sadly - same poster, same pattern. Unbelievable. It’s not that hard to hold your tongue if you don’t have receipts!!

Apparently it’s very hard for some people! Lol.

Thanks. Decades later, and I still cry when thinking about it. She was only 5 and the most feisty, I-love-life personality I’ve ever met. :kissing_heart:

How sad, and I’m sure traumatic for you. :disappointed_relieved:

I am glad to see the “divide and conquer” strategy has not worked.

I have also been privileged enough to communicate with both @FitzE and @erinmeri as well, and they are lovely individuals!

I do have a feeling the goal is not to encourage positive relationships though. Just another failure! Oh well!!!

OK. I apologize to Eggbutt for attributing the quote about “boob fixing” to her. It was a different poster, GreenWithEnvy.

On the original issue as to whether anyone had ever made light of LKs injuries, I now revise my response to refer to this quote, by @GreenWithEnvy, not Eggbutt.

In that particular thread, it looks like Eggbutt did not participate. The big battle was LK vs GreenWithEnvy. I think my misremembering the author comes from remembering the quote and that it came from “the chief antiLK poster”, who in that thread was GreenWithEnvy, not Eggbutt. Since in the more recent threads I think of Eggbutt as team leader, I mis attributed to quote to her.

I apologize to Eggbutt for the misattribution.

I don’t really see how it’s sensible for me to delete the original mistaken post, as trubandloki will have already QFPed it and others have commented on it as well.

It’s interesting that at that time, it was MHM doing the QFPing rather than trubandloki.

I am so sorry about your mare. That is such a risky time - some animals do it with ease, some struggle a bit but are okay, and sadly a few end up fracturing something or blowing out a major tendon or something. (I know of one super promising young horse in Germany that broke his shoulder trying to stand after being castrated. He was expected by knowledgeable folks to fetch 150,000 Euros or more in an upcoming auction - and this was quite some years back, so would probably be even more these days.)

I think many of the large equine hospitals now use recovery pools, but the smaller hospitals can’t afford them so have to rely on standard recovery stalls - which even when padded don’t 100% prevent injuries. :anguished:
