Does anyone appreciate the irony? Or maybe it’s just stupidity?

National TV broadcasts a whole episode on you basically saying that you precipitated a disastrous chain of events by being an out of control bsc online mean mouthed harasser, threatener, etc. That’s the major narrative and virtually all the viewers find it credible.

So in your defense, you go online and demonstrate this exact same behavior against a professional journalist and multiple random members of the public who commented on the TV show. You just say whatever ugly thing pops into your head and threaten defamation suits randomly.

In other words, you go overboard to demonstrate the exact same behavior that almost everyone (outside your family and a few random trolls or bots) agrees was the root cause of the events.

I hope everyone on the FB threads is clear that they are being addressed directly by LK using RGs account.

I have not looked at the Facebook threads. Are most people there grasping that fact about LK using RG’s account?

I think sometimes it’s hard to know if people will react differently when they are not up on the whole background story.

I am not a Kanarek, so I won’t speak for them, but I thought the 48 hours episode was excellent.

It’s very interesting. Technically Robert Goodwin isn’t a Kanarek. The married sisters no longer carry that last name. Any number of extended family members are not technically “Kanareks” either.

It is interesting to think back. We’ve had multiple back and forths about posters and possible connections. So far, no one has officially clarified that in respect to you and Hut.

Honestly, CH, your examples are not the greatest.

“Finish the Bastard” was a long drawn out plot to destroy MB. That is backed by cold, hard evidence. It is not proverbial fluff. It is a series of events that took place intent on ruining MB’s life.

MHG said something, which resulted in absolutely nothing. MHG was not pursued criminally, and MB was acquitted and never pursued criminally for anything on the recordings either. They were actual proverbial fluff.

As the 48 hours episode stated very clearly, at the heart of the situation was the animosity between two women, with MB in the middle. Not a romantic triangle, but a triangle with MB and two women.

Just out of curiosity, what on earth did MHG ever do to LK for LK to make her the pinnacle of evil? Was it that MHG was in her way of dominating MBs time and attention? Or something else? Or multiple things?

Not just hard evidence but the person who said it admitted in court, under oath, that their intent was to ruin the person they said it about.

The other line is from the “transcript” that keeps getting quoted is unsubstantiated transcript of a disputed recording used as a footnote in a motion where the transcriptionist is not cooperating with subpoenas re: said transcript.

Add that to the fact that, like has been stated by so many here, pretty much everyone says something like “I am going to him/her” . Most people do not plan/plot/play 7-d chess to get even with people and then admit under oath that they were doing that on purpose.

Didn’t they also call the house they were squatting on MB’s farm their house.

RG referred to it as “our property.” IIRC, it was during his testimony at the criminal trial when he expressed outrage at how MB came onto “our property” to confront them.

So they apparently consider anyplace they are living as “their property,” and it sounds as though that mindset also extends to anyplace where they are paying board for horses.

(Yippee, I am now only 4 hours behind and closing the gap on catching up…)

I believe LK also commented more than once that she was sitting on “her porch” that day.

From what I saw, it never picked up again, not even after the verdict, which was publicized extensively in the worldwide Equestrian media space and regular news media space.

Yes, but NJ.com serves the entire state, while the Kanarek family lives in the NJ/NY border area, just outside of NYC. Many people in that area use the heavily localized physical and online media sources, which are the ones that stopped coverage, despite having covered the shooting and lead-up to the first day in court. As the trial went on, I found there was no real local coverage of the case.

Finish the bastard is not at all a term used, commonly used or I’ve ever heard of used. But phrasing like I will kill you, is. I will kill you or I could just kill you or I want to kill you are all commonly used as an expression.

I don’t know if the FB posters know that’s LK using RG’s account but when the poster slips and says you are addressing a shooting victim, it’s a pretty clear tell.

The bsc approach may indeed make some FB posters moderate their comments especially if she starts going into their pages and screaming at them, like with the rescue. After all, as I’ve stated, I try not to get my real name on the radar of known cyber stalkers like LK or SW/DH. If it was something I was invested in IRL I’d speak up, but I’m not willingly going to borrow trouble.

That said, folks commenting on nationallt broadcast news stories do not expect the parties to those stories to be blustering and threatening readers and journalists. It’s really unprecedented behavior.

Also it is indeed possible that JK shut down local media coverage with legalese bluster during the trial. From what I’ve seen now, I believe it.

However, things get very different on a national stage for someone whose sphere of effective bluster is really just limited to one small town in New Jersey. It starts to look ridiculous.
