The bombshells in the trial were (to me):

1. It was SS, not LK, who alerted CPS.
2. CPS was there to investigate MHG for neglect and not MB for sexual abuse.
3. It was Tarshis who finally conveyed to LK that she had to leave on Aug 5, after MB himself failed to tell her to leave. He was trying to scare and harass her get her to leave, but did not want to evict her even on Aug 5 (per Tarshis’ testimony).

We were told it was with prejudice, which means she’s off the hook for pretty much everything, and he can’t get any relief from her madness.

However anything NEW that LK does is completely actionable.

I guess he can, but we’d have to peek at the court documents and see if there’s anything there. It may be that any such restrictions are private between the parties, but Lauren Shay Kanarek certainly doesn’t seem to be following any.

She did use the word evict. She also testified that she did not know if MB ever told them to leave, that she told them to leave in a meeting with words to the effect of if you are so unhappy why don’t you leave. She also could not recall anyone else or any other time anyone told LK to leave during cross examination.

So, are you saying that Jonathan Kanarek was lying when he said on this forum that they were asked to leave?

Perhaps when they use the words “a long time,” it has a different meaning than for most of us. Like the phrase calm and cogent, perhaps.

Not CH but I think LK is referring to Jim E Stark as a client. Cuz you know, he is an elite rider like herself - no wait - he is a master craftsman of renovations.

But… Jim E Stark (Robert Guy Goodwin) was not shot at because all the charges were NG.

I thought maybe @CurrentlyHorseless might know of some other situation that Lauren Kanarek was referring to since we know that CurrentlyHorseless says Lauren Kanarek is 100% believable and as described that can not be Robert Guy Goodwin/Jim E Stark, so it must be someone else.

Obviously LK was referring to herself and RG as the two clients.

Being acquitted does not mean you did not do the deed. It means that the prosecutor did not establish beyond a reasonable doubt that you did the deed.

I have never said that LK “is 100% believable”.

But you know all these things, right?

How do you explain away the fact that Robert Guy Goodwin/Jim E Stark is not a client? He is just the tagging along servant of Lauren Kanarek.

Not only was he not a client, he WAS NOT SHOT! LK is now claiming MB shot 2 clients? Surely, if RG was shot, they would have presented some evidence of that, right?

For sure, the phrase “a long time” is open to many different interpretations. I’m guessing that it seemed like a long time for JK, esp. since he was having to shell out $5000/month to support his 40 y/o daughter and her expensive hobby because she was incapable of supporting herself.

If MB had filed eviction papers would that have appeared on LK’s rental history if she tried to rent another apartment?

It would appear in the court system, which would be flagged by tenant screening services. If there was resulting debt filed against her, it would show up on a credit report.

So wittingly or not he was doing her a favor by not filing papers

Tarshis directly testified that he was doing her a favor by sending her the paperwork before he officially filed it to give her the opportunity to leave without it becoming a black mark on her credit history. But she was also laughing when she testified as to how she first heard about the eviction.

Not deliberately, no.

From the reports from both LK and MB clearly indicating the tension and fear at HH, I’m not surprised at all that SS was concerned that any minors on the property were potentially in danger.

I don’t pretend to know the details of who said what and the exact reasons SS felt they needed to contact CPS. But SS would have learned of the extremely tense and dangerous situation from the reports of both LK and MB.

So you are saying the box checked YES on the SS report form of LK’s report was done by MB or MHG? Wow!!! Dang!!! That is extremely serious. SS needs to be investigated for allowing others to add to another’s confidential report.

I’m saying the box was checked by someone at SS , after hearing the horror stories of both MB and LK.
