Doesn’t that mean the prosecutor is lying? Can he do that in a closing argument, or ever?
Careful, I once said “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”… and got quite a scolding from IM…
Funny how that drew such a strong reaction.
As the judge and the attorneys said, what they say isn’t evidence.
Closing arguments really is the one place where you can kind of stretch the facts to meet your story. Usually no one objects.
After watching this whole trial, and a lot of people saying that Judge T was biased against the defense, did anyone else notice him stop Mr S, not Mr B during closing? He did not like the way Mr S was characterizing the testimony about the DSM5 at all. That NEVER happens. Other attorneys don’t interrupt closings. I have never actually seen a judge do it unprompted.
Yup. Very interesting.
Maybe in retrospect it wasn’t THAT good of a party
Comments on FB are already interesting.
Where?
I thought Mr B objected to the use of the DSM5 and the judge said Mr S was fine…just using it demonstratively….
@Virginia_Horse_Mom I understand your husband’s sentiment about LK being banned, but if I didn’t know that she had been banned, I would have backed off participating here.
Well, shamefully that says a lot…….
One time I got a notification that she “liked” something I posted and I freaked out and ran away for a while. I’m a brave soul, huh?
The Chronicle FB article posted above
That was such a crazy combination of wacky and scary.
And it was so funny how the prosecutor tried to dismiss it as an impossibility in his closing arguments. But after everything else the jury had already heard by then, it did not really sound implausible at all.
You’re right, he did object. I TOTALLY missed that! That is so never done.
That was my impression.
This is a good point. If MB was face down on the ground with right handed Rob punching him, wouldn’t the right side of MB’s face have as much damage? It sure looks as though Rob attacked his head, face on right hand to left side of face, while Kujo was nipping away!
I don’t blame you. Not a bit.
He’s a wonderful husband, and is actually a deeply empathetic and kind person…. But… he has a dark sense of humor. As do I. And… there is something horrifically humorous about the way LK just goes on, and on, and on with her social media shenanigans. It defies description. You have to see it happen in real time to actually believe it.
where?
Eee. I’m not sure if I’m up for that adventure. Lol.
Im glad someone picked up what I was putting down. Lol
Or he was on his back!
