Barisone- New Thread

I think that’s absolutely true.

I’m just saying I think or at least hope that CPS does not try to distinguish between a valid report and an invalid report at a glance. I hope they choose to err on the side of caution and go out and check on the kids anyway. Especially in a case like this, if they got the report through a third party like safe sport.

Worst case scenario if they go out to see and everything is fine is that they wasted a little bit of time.

Worst case scenario if they don’t go out could be life or death for the kid. Literally.

That was tit for tat.

Oh gosh. You are right. It didn’t come out at trial. Someone on the forums said that part. The tale that was told was MB told her that her last trainer wasn’t doing a thing for her. There was a discussion of dressage goes to NC to die or something like that. It went on and on.

Yep. And let’s not try to pretend to those who don’t know better that being a USDF bronze medalist (with marginal scores that barely squeaked by) is anything like an Olympic medal. More than a few children have earned that medal.

I think SS either ignored both reports (except for the children in the barn) or had to put them on the back burner because of staffing or other priorities, but when MB was arrested they HAD to put him on the list.

and pray tell, what evidence there is she was a ‘cash cow’? When her boy toy was [barely] working off her board and training bills while they lived on the farm for free?

You can directly flag the post, if you haven’t already. It’s down near the"like" heart button. I think that gets their attention faster. Just FYI

I only see one clip of her in that top, and I don’t see him anywhere on that video. Or anywhere else in the white shirt.

I also don’t see the long video for all of day four, although they have the long videos for the other complete days.

:musical_note:Things that make you go, hmm…:musical_note:

I believe 100% that he’s being honest. When something tragic happens, for some, it’s your brains way of blocking that particular memory…it’s called dissociation.

I believe that is pretty much automatic if someone is arrested. They don’t investigate or anything like that. I think they just put them on the safe sport list as soon as they find out about the arrest.

Maybe it has to be a felony? Or something fairly serious? Probably not jaywalking or the like. I’m not quite sure of the details. But I think any serious charge from the authorities and the person goes on the list automatically and immediately.

Oops, I think you need day 4. Sorry, I don’t know to tag it here.

I can’t find coverage of the closing arguments on YouTube, am I missing something?

The cross exam starts here:

Not sure how JJ Tate, based in Tryon, NC and other top dressage riders would feel about that comment… hmmm. aren’t the top eventers riding in Tryon NC right now, last week? Including a few Olympians…? hmmm. don’t know - heard quite a few Olympians and BIG name riders ride and/or are based there…

It’s the cash cow part that everyone is objecting too. She not only was paying a rate below what was expected for a trainer of Barisone’s caliber, she and the consort were also starting to drive away his nondiscounted clients.
