Sorry, no offense intended. Probably jealousy on my part since I couldn’t afford a schoolmaster. (Got OTTBs and trained from bottom up. Long haul. But I wouldn’t have traded any of them for a dozen schoolmasters). My pardons.
She’s always ridden stiff, dropped left shoulder, and leaning forward. She has no core strength to learn correctly and does nothing to increase her strength.
She holds her hands thumbs in, instead of thumbs uppermost. This makes her arms stiff and elbows stick out. I’d love to have lessons with Leif a la biomechanics.
Maybe the torso bands are to help with her injured shoulder she mentioned? I’m jealous and wish I was still that thin.
Heck, no need to apologize! I fully embrace my poserosity and still don’t know how I lucked into an upper level schoolmaster. He showed me how little I know and how much I have to learn. It was very humbling and I’d be a fool not to acknowledge that even the best-trained horse still needs a competent rider.
Instructor looks like a lovely rider. I really liked his communication with the mare. Very soft, encouraging and positive. My horses would have loved him.
She called about neglect and MHG sent the unverified detective report and MB called USDF and USEF. RG and LK called BI and FM. MB called her dad. MB tried to scare her out and stopped some services on her horses such as farrier work. I don’t think there was a timeline.
I don’t think she ended up being a cash cow except for the time when she boarded two and bought one horse. I think she was recruited to be one. I think there were a lot of assumptions. Then it unraveled with the barter deal work for board assumptions. Did she buy any of the extra horses besides the schoolmaster from or through MB?
I’m pretty sure not guilty means not guilty, just as it would for anyone else. You can call an Uber and go home.
Not guilty by reason of insanity means you go to some sort of mental health facility, and the mental health professionals determine when you are well enough to be released to the public.
NGI, I read about NJ’s procedure. He would get an evaluation to determine his level of threat to harm himself or others, and placement and treatment depends on that. They periodically re-evaluate him and his placement, and then present to the court, until he’s deemed safe to be released.
Not Guilty on all counts - well, he gets to go home
Any guilty verdict is going to end up with some prison time. How much depends on what they find him guilty of, what the statutes require, and what credits he gets for time served so far.
As to which benefits him the most - if he actually gets help, I think NGI would benefit him. He clearly needs help. But straight not guilty’s wouldn’t suck from hims perspective and out in the world he might have access to better care, but with nothing compelling him to get that care.
well, her ability - or lack of - do factor in her plan to destroy all around on that farm, no?
MB for not teaching her (the off chance she shows up), MH for upstaging her (through hard fork), the hapless assistant trainer…
the kids as innocent bystanders…
The Olympic wanna-be…
If he’s found guilty of a charge in which the sentence is less than the amount of time he’s been in jail he will still be released with time served. But he’ll have that felony conviction which will bar him from USEF.
Her riding ability today or last week or last month or whenever that recent video was taken has no bearing on anything to do with the trial, which is about past events.
So it’s not productive to make negative comments that are going to get the thread shut down.
