If he gets NG (or is eventually released after a NGI), would he be able to get a restraining order against LK/RG?

In Florida is where I’d think he want to get one. So I suppose so.

If he has the means he should hire a body guard to accompany him to shows. Or never be alone. All to save him from false allegations.

There is usually very little notice. Court TV usually will break in for verdicts, but you will rarely get more than a 1/2 hour or so notice. Especially a trial like this, where they don’t have to wait for a victim’s family to arrive for the verdict. Court TV used to have a notification system, but I can’t find it.

I know where Lauren Kanarek can go after the trial to get validation and respect! Dr. Phil! Her and (name the victim) can duke it out on TV! That should make LK happy! She LOVES media reactions, especially the negative attention!

Thank you!

Somebody posted the link upthread, but you can sign up for Twitter alerts from the Law Crime Verdict account, or some name like that.

Restraining order?

He shot her. Twice. He shot at RG. Once.

Sorry if this was taken wrong. I was trying to determine if she has had lasting effects from her injuries.

ETA: But point taken. Thanks.

Dear lord… I’ve given up trying to read the entire thread due to a very long work day. I will be interested to see what the jury does with this. I’m wondering if their question about being recorded put them in the mindset of everyone on the farm worrying about who was recording and posting their private conversations.

You are trying far too hard to present LK as some sweet, innocent, persecuted person… all her rants and rages and schemes and order to “finish the bastard” would warrant a restraining order to me. Just for sheer peace of mind.

I see that you are on a campaign to post this as many times as you possibly can. However, repeating does not make it true.

What is the evidence that he shot her? Not had the gun, was the actual shooter?

How could he have shot at RG if no bullet or casing was ever found?

Would you be okay with your husband/father/brother/son/friend being convicted on the strength of two drug users who were caught in multiple lies while under oath each telling a story that didn’t match the other one’s both of which didn’t match the ear witness, both of which didn’t match their own statements to police, and all of which didn’t match the call timeline they themselves outlined?

Remember: no forensics, no finger prints, no GSR, no DNA, no search of any vehicle but that of your relative. Your relative has the crap beat out of him and the other guy has nary a scratch.

Honest question: are you saying in all honestly that you would be comfortable seeing your relative go away on that basis? Don’t evade or deflect, just answer if you’d accept a guilty verdict for your relative under the above-described circumstances.

For those in the legal profession, have you ever heard of a jury asking if they were being recorded?

No. But I haven’t dealt with many juries to be considered a definitive source.

When I read statement I immediately thought that certain members of the jury were scared of the drug addicts.

For good reason. Didn’t someone up-thread say, sure, you can do a podcast on this true crime story, but I hope you have a good lawyer.

Disgusting that people think they can silence others through intimidation like this. What an awful group of people!

I imagine social life is going to be…awkward at least for awhile after this trial. All the family skeletons will make for quite a crowd at the country club!

I didn’t watch Monday’s broadcast. Heard that the jurors’ names were mentioned. Is that true? If so, maybe the jury’s fear is justified if they feel some people might come after them if they gave “an unacceptable verdict.”

Here it is. What a chilling indictment of that family.

People who were posting on the Law and Crime comment section are telling stories of being harassed and more by Bob Abooey who is posting in the same manner, style and tone as LK.

Is there any wonder why jurors would be cautious?

Ah the same ole empty posturing of threats.

We don’t know what they heard when the comments were turned off. But we do know they heard of others who were harassed and doxxed and we know all those hundreds of pages of social media posts were also told to them.

Agreed. Knowing the party who produced 19,000 pages of harassing SM posts, texts, etc. was actively going after people on YouTube DURING the trial - as in, not even a trial of this gravity could check her on-line behaviour - is pretty scary.
