And thinking they could get away with it and a flimsy disguise

This poor man needs all the support he can get right now, especially from the “horse world”, whether it’s monetary, verbal, hugs, whatever…he needs to know he’s not alone. This is the time he’ll see who his true friends are. Time to pay it forward!

What happens to this trial if it comes the jury was afraid of the prosecution’s witnesses? what happens if it comes LK was threatening people on social media about this trial? Usually its the defense witnesses that get threatened in a trial, but if the actual victims threaten to the point the jury feels it can’t be impartial, does that happen ? I bet Bilinkis is already all over this. I bet he has one heck of an appeal up his sleeve.

And that is coming from one of our pro-LK clan posters. Doesn’t that say a lot about them?

I think that the question had more to do with the fact that 48 hrs has been filming this trial, and they were not sure if their deliberations were somehow also being filmed.

When they were drawing the names of the alternate jurors, those four names were mentioned briefly on the live stream, I would think by accident.

So technically, those four people should be the ones who are least concerned, since they will not be involved in reaching a verdict unless one of them gets rotated in for some reason.

But still. I would not blame anyone on the jury for being concerned, especially after everything they had heard in the last two weeks.

Does that somehow negate her self-confessed harassment and mental torture campaign to ruin his life? If he gets released, LK and RG are welcome to file for restraining orders against him too.

And unless you’re following a totally different trial, there doesn’t seem to be any actual evidence whatsoever that he shot at RG.

That could easily be. But it is interesting to wonder if they would have asked that same question if there had not been all the testimony about secret recordings, etc.

And whether that might give them some additional insight into the atmosphere at the farm around that time.

Does anyone know if there will be anything to see on the live stream of the court proceedings between now and the time the verdict comes in?

I’ll admit, being somewhat local and working for a company that has many folk who live in that county, I went back to see if I could hear the names to figure out if I worked with any of them.

I think they went back and cut the audio of that portion. Which is a good thing if they did.

Yesterday after they were done, L&C had a Verdict Watch that showed the state seal until they finished for the day. So I’m thinking they’ll put that up again this morning starting around 9.00 am EST? It was on L&C Channel C.

And anyone with half a brain cell could tell that it was worse than what they were being told since the defense was constantly being told that the LK was not the one on trial when they tried to introduce just how much she was torturing MB.

She locked her twitter…

The topic of LK’s riding ability (or lack there of) does apply since the prosecution brought it up at the trial.

I beg to differ.

There are thousands if not millions of people who ride and do not get to the Olympic level, but don’t behave this way. It’s the behavior that was the issue, not the actual riding ability.

And as I said upthread, her ability today or last month when the video was taken is unrelated to her ability three years ago anyway.

So let’s not give anyone an excuse to lock the thread by going down that road.

I don’t think HH is following any trial, or evidence, whatsoever.

Maybe the Johnny Depp trial?

Although I don’t think that one has actually started yet. Lol.

In the event of a hung jury, how long does the State have (or what is typical) for them to announce if they will retry the case. I would think with the Covid backlog it would take a long time before it could be done again.

I wonder if they would be required to turn him loose in the meantime, since it sounded like that was about to happen if they had not started the trial when they did, based on some law regarding the length of time he could be held without trial. .

Let me rephrase that for you “Looks like the bandage I had on my hand … when my dog bit it”

I think what you meant to say was, “Objection—relevance!”
