Barisone- New Thread

IDK…I posted the exact info I was given. I can’t even venture a guess anymore, too many possibilities on this one. But, maybe they will have a decision tomorrow.

And because of that I felt compelled to create a new profile picture

KarenK’s comments show up on YouTube for me (with this same profile pic).

They show up for me as well.

See this irks me. Why would you say MB had to “manipulate” them into leaving? If you’re told to get out, you get out. Not like money was an issue.

It’s the same annoying mindset as RG calling the porch “our porch”.

That sense of entitlement- you don’t see it but it’s glares at me.

Just move.

Can you post the link again?

Excuse me??? He didn’t choose to stay in jail. During one of the hearings Taylor remarked they were quickly approaching the release date if the trial had not started by then (there’s a name/term for it that I’ve forgotten). Bilinkas told Taylor if that date arrived, Michael wanted to stay in jail. Taylor said he’d never heard of such a thing and didn’t know if that could happen. Regardless, the trial began before that date came. Apparently Michael is still quite terrified of RG/LK based on his demeanor during their testimony.

I feel certain he will be very securely protected from harm for a long time should he be released.

LK and RG displaced the permanent residents at the farm by keeping the liveable space. Why are they more entitled to apartment than the permanent residents? Who does that? I get MB not wanting to be homeless. LK and RG started as guests and turned into squatters.

But I’ve changed my profile picture

I agree with what you are saying, but at the same time just ask them to leave. It was presented that he texted MHG that he was going to make their life hell so they would get annoyed and leave instead of just tell them. Both were wrong. JMO

I relied on evidence in reaching this conclusion. Barisone sent a text to MHG suggesting that he knew how to get rid of them. I’d have to re-watch the MHG testimony (the direct by the prosecutor, not the cross by defense), but I don’t have time for that. He started making life difficult for LK before he actually sent her the fake eviction letter (sent the day before the shooting). I’m not just pulling this stuff out of the air.

How is that not him deciding to stay in jail? I’m not judging I’m merely pointing out to that poster that he had chosen to remain in jail. You’re being a bit protective of anyone discussing anything about Mb even facts. It’s not necessary when I’m just trying to have a discussion.

I agree!

It was not a fake eviction letter. It was the necessary and legal way to initiate an eviction.

Step 1: Send notice and hope they vacate.
Step 2: if they don’t vacate then begin court paperwork referencing the initial notice.

It’s really not that hard.

Kapeesh?

But that wasn’t the starting place. The initial conversation about LK needing to leave was in April

I saw one of the L&C users posted this comment about an hour ago:

There will be no verdict today. Per Facebook, this is what happened when the audio was out on Law & Crime’s stream late this afternoon:

NEXT QUESTION: Jury wants to hear testimony of defense psychiatrist Steven Simring. He diagnosed Barisone with a delusional disorder centered on the belief that Lauren Kanarek wanted to “annihilate” him. Playback starts WED AM bc it’s long. Deliberations continue until then…

Soooooo… it sounds like they are going to listen to all of Simring. And over 2 hours of testimony…

Since that date never arrived he never made the decision to stay and Taylor didn’t have to decide if his request was feasible.

I certainly am especially when the facts are skewed. You seem to have forgotten I have fought this “real facts” for over two years!

Yes but since it’s hard to prove a verbal notice with these squatters you have to do it by paper.

I think the fact that they’re focusing on Simring’s testimony indicates that they’ve agreed that the state proved its case that he shot them, and that what’s left to determine is the choice between “guilty” and “not guilty by reason on insanity”.

That’s exactly the issue that the psychiatric testimony addresses, so I don’t see why you say Simring’s testimony doesn’t fit with the charges.

Since someone posted that he has “millions,” why not just pay RG something if that was the only issue. Then he could have sued, even filed an extortion complaint.
Or moved himself, MHG and the kids to a b&b or extended hotel, if he was terrified. He could have commuted back to the barn everyday.
He and LK were both determined to get the last word. Both lost, really.
