He thought he could handle the situation and manipulate LK/RG into leaving. That backfired badly.

See this irks me. Why would you say MB had to “manipulate” them into leaving? If you’re told to get out, you get out. Not like money was an issue.

It’s the same annoying mindset as RG calling the porch “our porch”.

That sense of entitlement- you don’t see it but it’s glares at me.

I don’t get this. You are being snarky to Rowdy over tenant rights which you have opined on with knowledge ok well admittedly for another state. You of all people know tenants have rights and living in the house over 30 days means they are tenants. The nice loyal lawyer friend of MB said MB tried to scare them out under cross. Is “manipulate” such a different word from “scare”?

They repeated the dates today, although I did not write them down.

But I believe the mustache guy said he first saw MB in early 2021. So a year and a half after the day in question. But he still seemed to think he could accurately assess MB’s mental state on that day from talking to him 18 months later.

Dr. Simring was the only one who first saw MB anywhere near the actual incident, almost exactly a month later.

His attorney had tried as did others. He was unresponsive to their efforts.

I don’t recall which day his attorney, Steven Tarshis, testified, but he was very upset that MB did not reach out to him earlier regarding eviction. He also said that he had tried helping, buy MB was not listening/hearing/processing what he was saying. Same with the hay guy - MB was not able to process what was being said to him.

A verbal GET OUT is all that’s needed. But verbal things carry no proof.

So when he got the lawyer the lawyer said let’s put it in writing. So they did.

But we both know LK wasn’t leaving either way. She was there to punish him and others.

You can post a thousand times about how MB didn’t do this or should have done that but everyone who is reading sees who the culprit was. And it wasn’t the horse guy whose biggest mistake up to the shooting was not hiring a lawyer to get the squatters out.

Who are “all the people who love LK”? Her father and whatever RG is were heavily involved with the destroy Barisone plan. So, who else? Did any of her sm “friends” insist that she leave, or did they laugh and ramp up the posts laughing with their Gerdie? Come on, who are these people who should have dragged her away kicking and screaming??? Seriously?

It isn’t that people are thinking that shooting was the justifiable solution to her being a “horrible person”, rather that her being a “horrible person” makes her account of the events questionable. It also leads to understanding why his mental state may have been altered.

It was my understanding that his mother verbally and emotionally abused him—not sexually. I think that was a neighbor or close family friend.

When I was a freshman in high school, my dog bit me in the face when I went to kiss her goodbye before heading to school.

I remember leaning over to kiss her goodbye, and the next thing I remember is being upright and seeing blood all over the floor. But I don’t remember her actually biting me at all. I didn’t feel it, either. I felt nothing - not even the blood dripping/gushing from my face (man, the face bleeds A LOT). The only way I even knew it had happened was because of the giant puddle of blood forming on the floor. It was a horrific bite and required 36 stitches.

I truly believe it when people state they lost consciousness or have no memory of a horrific event, and I’m glad I don’t recall my dog attacking me as she did.

Fortunately for me there was a cosmetic surgeon on call who came to my rescue and did a great job suturing my lips, nose and cheeks. It’s been over 30 years and I still don’t remember the actual attack. My sister saw it and has told me that it’s probably a good thing that I can’t remember as it was apparently pretty horrific.

Heck, even with it in writing, the agreement between the lawyers (one being her father), LK still insisted she was never asked to leave.

Oh but wait, it was just on social media (here), so it is OK to lie and not be honest even though you are using all caps and screaming at people that you are telling the truth, that you are the only one telling the truth.

Excuse me??? He didn’t choose to stay in jail. During one of the hearings Taylor remarked they were quickly approaching the release date if the trial had not started by then (there’s a name/term for it that I’ve forgotten). Bilinkas told Taylor if that date arrived, Michael wanted to stay in jail. Taylor said he’d never heard of such a thing and didn’t know if that could happen. Regardless, the trial began before that date came. Apparently Michael is still quite terrified of RG/LK based on his demeanor during their testimony.

I feel certain he will be very securely protected from harm for a long time should he be released.

I remember that he was eligible for pre-release at two years, about the same time they offered a plea deal. He turned both down I think at the same hearing.

I think that at the point that two years had elapsed since the original trial date, then he would be released. The original trial date was June 2020, so he would be eligible for release in June 2022 if the trial had not taken place.

So saying he didn’t want to be released in June 2022 isn’t that big a deal, given that the trial was scheduled to take place before then.

Was it 2 years from August 7, 2019 or the initial trial date?
