Upthread you suggested it was analogous to someone taking the wife and kids with him in a divorce. I think his intention may have been murder- suicide, but I could see him thinking of it as the only option left for protecting his family from them, rather than a spiteful act of possessiveness.

Who here has said it’s ok that MB shot LK? Talk about problems reading for comprehension. Go back to the beginning. Read the threads and understand what people are saying:
- There isn’t enough evidence to determine beyond a reasonable doubt that MB shot LK, intentionally or otherwise.
- If he did intentionally shoot her, there is significant evidence that he was legally insane at the time, and therefore not legally responsible.
FYI - “not guilty” does not mean the same thing as “innocent.”

I was knocked out as a teen once during a riding accident. I was in and on consciousness on the way to the hospital, but only started to regain memory about day 2 in the hospital. The last thing I remembered prior to the accident was going to the orthodontist 2 weeks prior. Memory loss is real.

That follows my general understanding of the prison mustang programs. They are focused on doing the basics with the mustangs. Turning them from totally feral animals, into a potentially adoptable equine for another skilled equestrian to finish.
The notion that MB could start a dressage program in prison with inmates and mustangs? That’s pretty batty, for many reasons.
And given that “Bob Abooey” is the one who first suggested this in the YouTube comments? Uhhhh… “Bob” is not a retired attorney following the case. “Bob” is obviously a dressage enthusiast. Because only a dressage enthusiast would connect all those dots, and think of that idea. A dressage enthusiast who REALLY wants to see MB spend significant time incarcerated.

In other words, belief in The Big Lie as a similarity. Even with actual, proven facts some still deny and argue. It is interesting how so many in the US can’t accept what is, or isn’t, right under their nose. Apparently they don’t want to accept truth so there is no sense wasting time arguing with them.

It bothers me that every time LK described the shooting, she raised her right arm to describe the 2 shots fired at her, then raised her left arm to describe the shot fired at RG. She did this every time, both on direct and cross. Why would MB have changed shooting hands?
Moot point now, especially since it looks like the jury didn’t find reasonable doubt on pure NG, and is now considering NGI.
