Just to clarify, if LK has previously ruined your life, what you experienced with LK does not count because you are angry that she previously ruined your life? Is that what you are saying?

Hmmmm, similar to MB’s fears? Were her fears delusional? Had there been any previous evidence of any horse not being cared for properly? Remember, didn’t she absolutely insist MB/MHG wanted her horses for themselves and that was the reason for the alleged murder plot - man, that never made sense - so why on earth would they not care for horses they were lusting to own?

I actually read this sentence and the posts made of the situation to mean that she didn’t have fears for her horse but was just scared of the situation. So there are multiple ways to read it. Who knows what the OP meant though.

In regards to the timelines and LK’s ability to move herself and the horses, Mr Tarshis testified that he first started negotiating with JK at least a week, possibly two, before he sent the eviction notice. On the Friday before the shooting, he thought they had an understanding she was leaving. On August 5th, when she hadn’t left, he had her served with the eviction notice to be out on August 7th. And that’s when (Aug 5th) JK hired ED to represent LK in the eviction action.

Is it common for people to hire a lawyer when the get an eviction notice?
Don’t most people who have some financial means just leave. I understand there are people who are unhomed after an eviction and may have to fight it but this wouldn’t seem to be that situation.

I doubt anyone would describe LK & JK as “most people” so that might be where the confusion on this point is coming in.
LK has unlimited means, per her posts. When she first heard (on her recording devices or otherwise) that she was no longer wanted there, be it by MB or MHG, if she was like most people she would have found another place and moved her horses then. Not went out of her way to “finish the bastard” and plot to destroy him, like she admitted to in court.
Edit to add - And saying that MB suggested she buy more horses or that MB said he would deal with MHG or any of that does not change this, Even if MB “begged her to stay” as someone posted. When you are not wanted, pack up and leave.

That is speculation on your part, which we all do. LK was never doyenne as MB went from VK to MHG per early posters while VK was still there so LK was always a student to a man with at least one and maybe two (though some say VK was gone before LK arrived and others say there was overlap so I don’t know) doyennes. LK never was and MB kept passing her off to JH and MHG whenever he could. Regardless, LK’s riding skill improved.
Yes, she should have moved. Very simple to see in hindsight especially. They also had to find a place to live.

I know I am late to the party today, darn, don’t you hate it when you have to work for a living?
From my personal experience, ohhhhh about 20 years ago, I had a horse in training with a BNT (dressage) in NC. You know the place that dressage goes to die. I paid, 20 years ago, $1700/1750. for ONE (1 )horse per month training and board. Again that was for ONE (1) horse.
So $5000.00 for 5 horses, doesn’t add up in my mind. But I am not good with math. And my experience was about 20 years ago. So you do need to add in cost increases.

More BS. Weren’t you one of those who was insisting that MB was “stressed out” trying to make two women happy (LK and MHG)? And that LK had thought everything was fine until MHG saw through her?
Of course LK would have wanted MHG gone. Otherwise, why did she keep ratcheting up the pressure on both MB and MHG? Why was she relentless attacking MB/MHG on social media? Why did she have RG plant recording devices to record private conversations between MB and MHG? Why did she sneak around at night, trying to sneak into the barn, screaming outside their windows at night? Why did she call SafeSport and hint that minors may be at risk there? Why did CPS show up as a result, to investigate a bogus “neglect” allegation against MHG? Nope, LK was no doubt hoping MHG would say, “Uh, now they are after my kids. I’m outa here.”
If her intent wasn’t to drive MHG away, then what was her goal? Inquiring minds want to know.

I can’t believe you are asking with a straight face. IDK, maybe you’re not. But you have made hundreds of statements that you purport to be facts, like this one, for example:
How could you know this? You’ve stated numerous times that you don’t know her or any of the people involved in the incident, yet somehow you know that her “fears” were understandable. Do you know of a single incident when MB or anyone at either of his facilities mistreated horses after their owners said they were leaving? Do you? If so, please tell us.
What I know, though, and what you refuse to acknowledge, is that she had the opportunity to move and refused. Just how fearful could she have been? Hmm?

Just want to point out……if you are a parent negotiating a move for your adult kid, don’t you say something to them about it before you are done? Don’t you ask for their input? Only parents of children make such significant arrangements for their life without discussing the results with them before hand.
It is not logical to think that LK wasn’t aware of these negotiations her father was making on her behalf, which makes the whole thing more odd.

I don’t think there’s anything common about this situation. Her dad and Mr Tarshis found her a place and she didn’t go. Instead, she turned up pressure on MB. Then she gets an eviction notice and instead of going, she and RG contact inspectors. THEN, while ED is negotiating a new exit, she convinces the fire marshal to let her back in to the property that she’s now been told by MB, her dad, Mr Tarshis, and the fire Marshall (Aug 6th) she has to leave.
This is not normal.

It’s clear the mods deleted a bunch of posts. You may have deleted your nonsensical post that suggested that RND discuss things with MHM by PM, but I didn’t delete any of my posts, and my response to your post is gone.
I saw RNDs offensive post, and it was clearly over the line. If this signals that the mods are enforcing the rules against lobbing personal insults more tightly, I’m glad, as much as I liked and appreciated RND.

Huh? My understanding is that it was clear that MHG wanted her gone, that was known, but that MB himself was saying, and doing things to indicate, otherwise.
If she was setting mixed signals, even intense mixed signals, I can understand she wouldn’t leave within days.
