Really? To avoid being shot? Ok.

Even in the extreme case of being told you leave within three days on Aug 6, why would you… call building inspector, call ss, ninja thru the woods, etc etc etc

See, I think at that point they could drop him from the suspension because if he attends as required by the state, then really what reason do they have to deny him full membership?

It would be kinda silly to require him to live in New Jersey and attend counseling there, IMO. He can see qualified professionals near his home in Florida where he will have people who support him on hand.

But of course, the judge and the state have to weigh the report from AK.

Hurry up and wait seems to be the theme!

I agree that the math doesn’t add up.

But just to clarify, weren’t there four LK horses at the New Jersey property at that time? With the fifth one still in quarantine at a different location?

A violation of his constitutional rights? Is that what you mean by civil rights? Your constitutional rights apply to how the criminal justice system treats you, not how SS treats you. That’s why SS may come to a different determination.

I believe so.

But like the number of bullet holes, gun shots, and many other things, the quantity described changed frequently in LK’s stories.

I tend to disagree with your statement. The jury has ruled on the shooting and SS changed their description of MB shortly after. My personal belief is SS is waiting for his release and ability to arrange a hearing with them or review any restrictions he may be under once released. I personally believe the only SS/USEF investigation going on currently is directed toward Kanarek via the 700+ page document sent by MHG/MB. Do you have better information than my assumptions?

Entirely possible. But I believe when the mods delete a post, there is no trace of it left whatsoever.

I think the post Eggbutt referred to showed a message saying that the post had been deleted by the person who made it in the first place.

A previous poster with experience in this has said that transferability to another state was highly likely. He is not a prisoner and he does have rights. Mental health commitments are no longer really a thing in the US barring the guilty but insane criminal situations….which we do not have in this case.

Yep it did. Sorry if I got the number of horses incorrect, even so, in NJ in that area, at that type of training facility, where just plain old fashioned horse board can be over $1000.00 per horse. Then you would need to add training to that for I am guessing another $1000.00 per month per horse. I am betting I am using the low end of the cost spectrum. That is a steal of a deal.

She didn’t believe in her heart of hearts that she would actually be shot. How was she supposed to know he was delusional and insane if MHG and RC had not noticed?

She called SS because she was being bullied and wanted to report MB for the bullying. She called the BI because at that point she did want to harass him. If I had been in her shoes, I would have interpreted his 5 calls to 911 as attempts at intimidation and harassment. I’m not convinced the ninja through the woods happened.

I don’t have any knowledge of safe sport’s timeline, but it seems like that would not be an unreasonable plan.

And based on Seeker1 saying Taylor had told her MB was guilty after hearing the recordings is deeply troubling to me. Why was a judge involved with any discovery pretrial and why did he form an opinion and share it with Kirby Kanarek? Is he a family friend? Regardless, her comment sure reeks of bias. He should not be involved in the evaluation phase of MB’s AK report.

If I had been in her shoes (which I will never be in her shoes but I am playing along), I would take his 5 calls to 911 as it being VERY clear that I am not wanted and I should leave and I should take the offered help from several friends on Facebook and my unlimited means and get myself out of there.

I would also take those 5 calls to 911 as a man desperate for help in a situation, and the reason there are 5 calls, not just one call or two calls, because the problem in the situation has gone all “finish the bastard”.

This is a good point. Is there some way to bring this problem up to the court system? It is kind of scary if this happened.

Didn’t two people see her? And that is a pretty far-fetched thing to “make up.”

Oh goodness. Someone testified to this under oath and you are not convinced it happened. Yet, when I say I don’t believe sworn testimony I am argued with for days on end. Hmmmm.

Exactly.

Why hire the lawyer unless they were wanting to fight.

This is not seemingly a situation where one is left homeless with an eviction and needed to fight it.

This is a situation where they wanted to fight it.
