My original purpose in that list was trying to understand why a successful trainer/rider/business man could be so bothered by a problematic boarder.

You really are a piece of work. That “problematic boarder” had initiated a relentless campaign of mudslinging against MB in an attempt to force him to ditch MHG and restore Herself (the problematic boarder) as #1 at Hawthorne Hill. And when it became apparent that he wasn’t going to acquiesce, she escalated from insinuations to actual threats and other actions - including inferences to certain governmental agencies that MHG’s minor children were at risk there.

Sheesh. “Problematic boarder - on steroids.” (Or other stronger drugs.)

I would have no problem with your opinion except for the attempt at an insult which kind of blows your credibility. Thank you for yet another example of how people are treated with a differing opinion.

Thanks for digging that up. It’s always interesting to review these old posts to see what jumps out at you in light of later information.

In this case, it’s IM’s assertion that the video cameras were not up and running yet at the house. Even though it was shown at the trial that they were up and running, and RG received a notification from one of them just minutes before MB showed up at the house.

IM did not say the cameras were “not up and running yet”.

He said they were only going to be turned on when they were not at the house, which was equally untrue, as proven by the alert RG received that day while they were at the house.

That’s why I don’t understand the “MB needed LK’s money” thing. $5k is a pittance in terms of running a farm.

As a barn owner I can guarantee he was losing money on that amount for 4 horses in training and an apartment. He needed her like a migraine.

If there is a no contact order why is she posting on YT about MB or MHG? Particularly making claims about paying his employees!! Who does that? She really does flaunt her ability to ignore what she is officially told to do. This ignoring a no contact order is especially concerning for when MB is released. Hopefully significant restraining orders will be filed and the local PD is better trained than the MCPD! Society’s rules simply don’t seem to apply to these folks.

In what sense is posting on YouTube a violation of a no contact order? The no contact order says that none of the parties can contact the other parties in person, by phone, by mail, or by electronic means.

Are you asking the basis for my question as to how would LK and family think the horses would be cared for by the same people who just shot her twice and whom she had been at odds with before? It seems that all parties were concerned with safety and horse care. RC was sleeping in the barn aisle outside of Didi’s stall. LK was worried about barn fires. Her family was worried about horse care after she was shot twice. It was a deteriorating situation. This all came out in court.

People that concerned about the welfare of horses would not have abused horses belonging to someone else, nor would they have neglected to provide critical care for them as needed. Unlike a certain other couple living on the proper, MB/NHG/RC/JH, etc., just don’t sound like they are vindictive enough to willfully harm someone else’s horses.

Oh, and another thing - didn’t LK allege that the reason MB tried to “murder” them was because MHG wanted her horses? Now why in the world would someone allow abuse or neglect to happen to a horse she was wanted for herself?

Per Eggbutt, LO closed the barn and paid to ship MB’s horses to Florida herself with no help from MHG, JH, or RC. So if what Eggbutt heard and repeated is correct then it’s not that they were vindictive as much as not responsible.

MHG, JH, and RC each just left with their own horses, leaving MBs horses to be cared for by the mother of a working student? Wow.

At one point her Venmo account was open and you could see the transactions. It was discussed somewhere on here in a past thread.

It is my understanding is she is also not supposed to be writing/posting about MB/MHG or her children and is not supposed to contact anyone connected with them…same for LK’s parents I was told. As I said originally I have not actually seen the no contact order personally.

When I was a kid my trainer and her boyfriend did this sort of thing all the time to me. My parents didn’t hang out the barn, so until I finally told them they thought things were good. One day the boyfriend would praise me and joke around while my trainer was nasty to me. Days later they would reverse.
Once I told my parents we literally moved my ponies (one who was in a different location, to be “sold” per my trainer) in less than 24 hours. Obviously that’s not four horses but two ponies that were three hours apart plus my tack, tack trunk, assorted horse gear, etc.

I doubt everyone up and ran under the cover of darkness leaving MB’s horses there. I assume there were discussions and mutual agreements regarding the horses and farm.

I’m sure MHG was very afraid and was urged to leave as soon as she could find a secure landing spot. The arrival of RG/JK the next day unnerved everyone.
