Surely people suffering from a traumatic event deserve to recover as far away from the traumatic people involved as well as the traumatic location, without victim blaming/shaming, don’t they? Or is LK the only one who gets that privilege from you?

You know. It really is amazing that you (a few of you) pick apart MB (elderly, depressed, delusional, divorced, cheater, money issues, young girl chaser, possible abuser, bad business man, etc) and yet you summarize LK as “problematic”.

This really speaks volumes.

Tarshis said he was a good business man. He was certainly successful in riding and training. He was competing at the apex of the sport and now sought by those who also wanted to do so.

Dealing with a lot of stress doesn’t negate that. Staying at the top in and of itself sounds stressful.

So he was stressed because he was broke (according to LK advocates) AND he was stressed because business was good (according to LK advocates)

What I have done is point out that MB had a lot more going on in his life to stress him out and cause him to have a mental breakdown and be in a delusion than one problematic boarder.

So how do you know that? Do you know him personally? Did he tell you that?

Divorce
“Hard to feel good after being clipped for $965,000.” (Divorce again)
New girlfriend.
Loss of income (ex-wife’s)
Loss of business manager (wife)
Possible aging issues with 8-9 concussions (court)
Ice storm and house damage

You seem to think he went straight from VB to MHG. That would be an error.

MHG testified she started a relationship with MB in 2015. He and VK started their divorce in 2017. VK started her own business in April 2019.

Maybe you know of other girlfriends along the way but I just heard of one and a wife and they overlapped per the girlfriend/fiancé.

I separated from my ex in 1990 but the divorce happened in 1995, 5 years after our last day spent together.

That happens a lot. You should check it out.

Okay…I will not argue with you. I have absolutely no reason to believe the information shared with me is inaccurate. You do understand there is a large 700+ page complaint being investigated now, right?

No, I don’t. MHG and MB filed a complaint of that size on Aug 6, 2019. If it’s still being investigated, I would think that any complaints against LK, MB, and MHG are all being investigated jointly in conjunction with the information from the trial.

As long as he has been in business, they should have legal forms and releases and know how to kick someone out. Most of the barns I’ve been in do have those things and have been able to do so.

1. Contracts don’t mean squat. You will still be in court up to your eyeballs in legal bs and paying thru the nose for it.

2. Betcha you never had to deal with someone like LK and Co.

Mine paid for the farrier and then we paid her back. Some trainers require you leave a check for the farrier.

Thanks for digging that up. It’s always interesting to review these old posts to see what jumps out at you in light of later information.

In this case, it’s IM’s assertion that the video cameras were not up and running yet at the house. Even though it was shown at the trial that they were up and running, and RG received a notification from one of them just minutes before MB showed up at the house.

Isn’t it interesting that after this tragic event, boarders, employees, fellow trainers, significant others were all left to figure out next steps, including care for LK’s animals. Who was available to pay the bills, order hay, grain, shavings, etc? There is no doubt quick plans were developed with all the people involved. It’s easy to forget there were more clients there other than LK.

It is my understanding is she is also not supposed to be writing/posting about MB/MHG or her children and is not supposed to contact anyone connected with them…same for LK’s parents I was told. As I said originally I have not actually seen the no contact order personally
