Thank you for posting this. Agree.
I’m wondering . . . just throwing this out there . . . If MB went to the house with the gun for whatever reason, and she started verbally attacking him and charging at him to back him up (as she texted someone and has testified about) and started attacking him physically and that he pulled the gun at that time in self defense?
As I said earlier, I’ve always thought this was a possible, even more likely scenario.
Glad I didn’t have coffee in my mouth - the downgrading to boyfriend made me burst out laughing!
And wondering why prosecutor went back to the FB posts re “my gun(s) were in NC” and “I’m not violent” when LK admitted yesterday that she lied about stuff on FB?
It creates doubt that her/their story is accurate, considering how they/she routinely says/posts/texts/etc things they/she don’t mean literally, except when they do…
I agree about creating doubt, but given MB is pleading insanity and self defense, I don’t see how it matters WHY he took the gun there. Although, that could come into play for the attempted murder charges. I don’t see how attempted murder could be reached at this point, but I also don’t know all the intricacies of how it works for a jury coming to a conclusion when the charge is attempted murder but the plea is self defense and insanity.

Or he went to the house calm cool and wanting to work things out as LK testified and RG went to talk to him and walked away and LK brought the gun into the equation. The gun she had posted here she had come across which posed a danger to children thus solving the mystery of the missing gun. A gun with 3 bullcheep bullets used for target practice that didn’t kill teenie tiny her.
“my gun(s) were in NC”
Exactly, plural gun.
I think it’s been demonstrated that she exaggerates (her word) or lies, so it’s hard to know when she actually is exaggerating/lying
I am just getting caught on LK’s cross from yesterday afternoon and have the following commentary -
- I started reading about this situation here during the summer last year and what kept me me coming back was that LaLa/LK was posting. And throw in IM. Well, you just cant make this type of thing up.
- This should be an eye opening situation for every barn owner/trainer. Many times the client who is willing to spend lots of $$ is given a pass on bad behavior. This is an example of how sometimes its just not worth it.
Yep, you’re not wrong about his intentions. But he took a gun there (as far as we know at this point) a
I was recalling earlier testimony. When the lady from CPS went there, she and MHG were in the office. MB interrupted them a total of 3 times. Wanted to know how much longer they were going to be. On the 3rd interruption he told them they had to leave as he needed the office. The safe with gun was in there, and that is likely the reason he was wanting in there, apparently impatient. Says intent to use it, imo.
It’s difficult for some to look at this trial as if they don’t know the backgrounds of the individual parties.

No only that…but the entire rest of the post is about guns, bullets, and about someone begging to be let up….
Hoping to unsow the seeds of doubt that were probably planted in the juror’s minds after all that lying and back-pedaling.
True, it seems no one has testified they saw him take a gun with him.
Was it on camera, the gun in his hand?
Also, she said he was driving like a crazy person… Her words.

That’s a damage control/remind the jury sort of move to me. He probably hopes that they will forget she struggles with veracity.
LK, OTOH, did not suffer physical trauma to her head, so I would certainly expect her to have a better memory of the events
This is not correct. Trauma of any kind can cause memory loss and memory issues. Trauma actually does physically change your body. I have serious memory issues, and I have to use a memory technique of location mapping daily to help remember basic tasks.

Wasn’t RC sitting in that lounge, doing work?
Wouldn’t she have seen him come out of there with the gun?
Especially since she recognized that CPS being there might exacerbate the situation?
To many of us there were always numerous inconsistencies and obvious lies within her story. Those seeds are now blooming.
I think most posters could see what was happening but it doesn’t excuse someone shooting someone.

Defense just introduced the idea that she had access to his office and was willing to forge contracts……he could have just been checking the safe to see if the gun was really gone….
The jury really needs to hear just what a menace she is and what is was really like there.
I believe whether he shot her or not is not in question in this trial.
I would be interested to hear from one of the legal beagles as to what the jury’s options are–
are they limited to 1) self-defense, or 2) insanity, or could they simply say “not guilty”, because there is reasonable doubt about what went down?
this is what I am wondering too but no one seems to know the answer lol
I did not catch all of todays testimony, did she testify that she DID go back in the house right after shooting before police got there?
