I agree. This feels rehearsed. He says he can’t recall details because he was solely focused on “his client being shot.” Same as LK and RG have stated.

ED - Had the impression LK was very afraid of MB
Refreshing memory with transcripts… context - LK was afraid of MB at a specific point in time. At a different moment, right before shooting, ED doesn’t think she was afraid because it was all getting resolved.
But had he let LK know he had spoken with MB’s lawyer and they were resolving things? Unclear. Maybe not.

What he heard traumatized him, but he says it’s incorrect that this recollection was affected.
He heard shots, he heard LK say she was shot in the chest, doesn’t feel his trauma would change that memory. Maybe other little things.

So while lawyers were trying to resolve the landlord tenant dispute, and believed that they had it all worked out…
LK and RG were upping the ante, involving the local BI and FM, getting MB evicted from the whole property and fined, and local child welfare investigators had just visited the farm regarding a complaint that LK had initiated to SafeSport about MHGs child.
What a totally ridiculous and crazy situation

So LK feared for her physical safety from MB, but was no longer afraid that day because she had talked to a lawyer about the eviction issue? That doesn’t make much sense.

To be completely fair, I hear alll sorts of weird mixes in rescue. Animal rescue leagues say it is a mix of this and that based on their opinion. And then it sort of sticks.
