Barisone Trial Starting Monday, 3/28

Is that a rubber band ED is playing with?

He’s trying way too hard.

My take is that LK was going to get evicted, and her lawyer told her this. No court is going to let her squat there because she wants to. LT laws do allow the tenant some protections, but in the end the property owner usually gets them out.
She was going to look like a loser, and she’s a winner! /S

Was informed that MHG was causing problems.

ReDirect:

  • Refreshing memory - Cell phone number - Refreshed on who called whom - he 100% called RG - he made 3 calls.

  • The 1st 4min call was to RG to tell LK what is going on in case with MB lawyer, when she was shot.

  • 2nd call was to see if she was ok - nobody answered.

  • Then he called again because you want to be sure.

  • After that 3rd call he called 911.

  • With regards to the notes he made and scanned - Refreshed memory - When he got to office - His practice is 100% of time to write notes and scan, then usual throw out original.

Wow…no psychologist for the state? Unusual isn’t it?

Must not further their case…

I have a vague memory that both the State and the Defense agreed on the Psychologist. From one of the hearings.

Whoa. That’s it? That’s all the prosecution has? To charge a guy with two counts of attempted murder?

I find this… strange.

Well who is gonna get up there and say MB is totally sane???

The prosecution’s case was a :poop: show. If the jury voted right now I’ll bet it would be Not Guilty.

Huh. Lunch break until 1:30. Prosecution rests. So they never called any sort of expert witness regarding MB’s mental health.

Is that telling considering the defense is going to call two psych experts?

I think so, but I’m just an internet nobody. :cowboy_hat_face:

I wonder if ED was aware of all those shenanigans going on, as he’s trying to iron out the wrinkles they keep creating?

Ed obviously has loyalties to JK, who is who connected him with LK.

The script is too rehearsed - unable to recall certain details but keeps stating MB shot his client. LK was afraid of MB but not prior to shooting (per Ed)? LK was afraid of MB according to Ed but he was calling LK that day to discuss “IF and when” LK might leave?

But the defense psych is supporting Mb’s insanity claim…and saying he blacked out. State and defense had different psychs, and state’s said Mb didn’t black out.

Exactly. Unfortunately, at one time, I was married to a pathologic liar. It got to where I didn’t believe if he told me the sun came up.

One thing I noticed today when they showed MB sitting next to his lawyer.

He certainly did not look happy, but with this last witness, as with the surgeon the other day, he looked like he was listening and paying attention for the most part. Not like he was trying to crawl out of his skin or fighting the urge to hide under the desk the way he did last week when LK and RG were on the stand.

Not guilty or not guilty due to insanity?

So you’re not busy doing much of anything pressing.
Your phone rings, and its your lawyer calling the day after he’s been trying to iron out your tenancy mess… and you don’t pick up?
Was she aware ED met with MB lawyer the day before? Wouldn’t she, considering her fear of the situation, be anxiously waiting to hear from him?

Plus RG referred to him as “my attorney.” Blinkas questioned it, and RG confirmed. Oooops.
