Barisone Trial Starting Monday, 3/28

Extremely to 100% unlikely.

A judge is not going to get his guidance on running his courtroom from livestream commenters.

He may have his way of doing things and his beliefs but the source of them is not going to be Youtube.

At this point Not Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Forget the insanity

To create more charges
She’s legally astute, remember, she would know that.

DH adds, in fact, that delayed third shot at RG is not self defense if it occurs independent if and after the scuffle over the gun which accidentally discharged hitting LK twice. Second trigger pull is easier than first. Testimony was that the shots were in quick succession.

So charges for shooting RG should be gone, toast.

You’re correct, where’s the evidence there was a third shot?
Has anyone besides LK and RG testified to hearing more than two shots?

Interesting question. Especially since the police only found two shell casings there.

LK and RG stated that MB said something about “I don’t want a war” and LK answered him prior to the shooting. If they didn’t clearly remember that happening, I’m not sure why they would say it did, unless they were intentionally lying. It’s much easier to accidentally leave things out that did happen, versus accidentally add exchanges that didn’t occur.

For ED to say he heard LK say “OMG MB is here! He has a gun!” without any prior exchange with MB is a pretty glaring inconsistency, unless he somehow just couldn’t hear the initial exchange between MB & LK but managed to hear that – maybe because she was yelling more loudly for RG to hear?

I still want to know why the insistence on 3 shots. Maybe RG just couldn’t stand to be left out?

Edit - wrong initials

According to their lawyer today, the first call to RG lasted about four minutes.

No.
They just testified for the prosecution.
Defense has not done their part of the show, haven’t called a single Defense witness

Holy moly! You are soooooo right about this.

There is zero proof that a third shot was aimed and fired at RG. ZERO. Other than RG and LKs testimony.

Juries make decisions everyday. If I were on a jury presented the “ so far” evidence, I would be unable to convict as there is just too much reasonable doubt at every angle.

Ah, got it.

I don’t remember them saying anything about that. But it was a while ago by now, with a lot of other testimony under the bridge by this time. Lol.

Funnily enough, I was thinking of this case when I watched one of the new episodes of Law and Order a couple of weeks ago.

On Law and Order, the crime happened in I think early February, and they were in court trying the case in late March. Very, very, very different from what we’ve seen here. Even with a pandemic thrown in.

If they were (in fact) inside the house or sitting on the back porch that faced away from the driveway, they might not have seen the CPS lady go by in her car.

I’m hoping someone will call in an animal communicator to cross examine Rosie.

She might try to bite their face off, but at least the prosecutor might actually get a witness that will tell the truth.

But the camera beeped, when it detects motion, so they hear the beep, look out, and see strange car of CPS worker?

What about the bullet that entered the house through the door and exited out the other window? The 14-degree upward angle is consistent with somebody firing up towards the porch from ground level. The state’s argument is that this is the third round, fired at RG after the two that hit LK. To me the evidence of that round’s trajectory is pretty consistent with RG/LK’s (very muddled) story that MB shot LK first after stepping out from behind the bush, started to follow LK as she ran off towards the side yard, then turned and fired one shot at RG as he was on the porch (or maybe just coming out the door).

I caught part of ED’s testimony and it sounds like the call ended pretty quickly after the first two shots, possibly before that third one was fired, so he might not have heard it.

It’s not a crime to be mentally ill. And the state has a high Burden to prove any crime, which is how it should be. It’s the state you should be mad at, not the defendant.

Poor Rosie, can you imagine having a person as volitile at these two?

Cases never ever EVER go to trial that fast in my jurisdiction.
