Okay but that’s not what my reply was in reference to…? If you’d quoted my whole post, it’s clear that I’m responding to your question about why the blood on LK’s hands wasn’t DNA tested.
A “four minute” call? It took four minutes to say, “Can I speak to Lauren?” Or did it take four minutes to walk downstairs and/or out the door? Four minutes is a LONG time.
For what it’s worth, I think ED is trying to be as honest as he can be. He, I am sure, did NOT anticipate this happening, no matter HOW contentious the whole ‘eviction’ proceeding was. I am disappointed, though, that ED didn’t wear a suit, being a lawyer and all. And I think that ED won’t hold any sort of grudge towards Belinkas (sp.?)—he knows, I’m sure, that lawyers have to do what they need to do.
I’m a bit bemused by the ‘I’ve (just?) been shot in the heart’ statement. I can picture, “I’ve been shot!” but the location? I.E., “I’ve just been shot in the right hip, just above where my leg and torso meet…” Now, LK REALLY MAY have said, ‘in the hip/chest’, so take my opinion for what it’s worth (i.e., nothing).
As to the date of ED’s ‘note-taking/scanning’, when I save a document, it automatically saves it with a ‘last time opened/saved’ connotation. I’m not sure if that happens when you scan a document, but if so, maybe that’s why he didn’t date his ‘notes’ on his experience. Betcha, though, he dates everything going forward…
I feel for the police department here. Yes, there were definitely procedural mistakes (to my eye), but it’s probably a very small department with shootings being rare (poaching?). HOWEVER, where I worked (for a municipality), if you ASKED to speak to a supervisor, you GOT a supervisor. It might have been, if it is/was a small police department, that the supervisor might not have been in or available. IN THAT CASE, I would expect a supervisor to CALL BACK as soon as he returned/or was available to discuss the situation. I am sure. going on, that procedures for even the tiniest infraction will be observed. (I don’t give them a “by” for the handling of the situation(s) up to now, however.)
One dog does look to be a GSD/Doberman cross, definitely more than 25 lbs. Second dog looks to be to be a Dachshund/Sheltie cross. Most of the Dachshunds I have known (as a dog club member and obedience trial competitor) have been nippy, and I owned a Sheltie, while a lovely, SWEET dog, was extremely territorial and would nip (g)you if you came onto my ‘property’ without proper introduction.
As someone whose co-worker was, also at the time, a landlord, I heard a lot of ‘horror’ stories about tenants and evictions. She got to the point, through experience, where she knew when, where, and how to do it. The general thing I remember is that it could take as long as six months to get a tenant out, and bad tenants did bad things to her properties before they left. (She learned, however, how to get back rent, damage costs, etc. through the court [income tax refunds, I remember, as an example].)
RE: Not finding the bullets. Did they try using a metal detector? I’m sure they might end of finding a lot of non-lethal metal items, i.e., beer tabs, horse shoe nails, but still…
That’s all for now. I have NO legal expertise, nor do I vacuum for a living or flip burgers…
I’m still confused about why it would matter whose blood it was on her hands? She and MB were both injured and bleeding. That’s not in dispute as far as I can tell.
I believe the point is that she keeps acting like her blood was everywhere. Add that she could not call because of the blood, but claims to have beat up MB after all that, not before.
Davidson - Truck diver, hauling trees. Knows MB - smiling, known MB for 20yrs at the farm, worked for him, brought in hay.
August 2019 - Hired by MB for another purpose - Asked to watch the barn. He was having problems with a girl at the house. He would be at barn from about 8pm to 6am.
Tried to talk to MB and have coffee in the AM but he was so messed up he could hardly talk.
First time he came there, the girl (LK) came running out of the house yelling “who are you” repeatedly. He was at barn with MB for 10mins and two cars came up. One car went around barn and one came to him. Unmarked police cars.
Had discussion with police. They asked how everything was, he said pretty quiet right now. They didn’t ask him why he was there or who hired him. (This was on Aug 1st).
He was there each night until the ‘incident’. His job was just to park by the barn and make sure nobody goes in.
He saw MB every night - MB was constantly walking the property all night. MBs physical appearance - he was terrible. He was beside himself. Never seen him in 20yrs in this condition.
He specifically looked distraught. Could hardly talk. He was out of it.
MB would be in and out every night 3-4 times to walk the property.
